Abstract
Description
The invention relates to water treatment technology, in particular to the treatment of wastewater from copper ions by sorption.
св. 1560483, C02F 1/28, БИ N16, 1990 г.), включающий обработку золой и отделение осадка осаждением, в котором сточные воды последовательно обрабатывают сначала золой, содержащей СаО 30-50%, до pH 8,75-9,25, а затем золой, содержащей CaO 3-5%, до pH 6,5.A known method of treating wastewater from heavy metals and organic substances (ed. St. 1560483, C02F 1/28, BI N16, 1990), comprising treating with ash and separating sediment by sedimentation, in which wastewater is treated first with ash containing CaO 30-50%, to a pH of 8.75-9.25, and then with ash containing CaO 3-5%, to a pH of 6.5.
The disadvantage of this method is the low cleaning efficiency due to the low sorption capacity of the ash in relation to copper and the complexity of the process.
A known method of wastewater treatment from copper ions (ed. St. 1495308, C02F 1/62 BI N27, 1989), in which the water is treated with an alkaline solution and activated carbon, followed by maintaining the mixture at a temperature of 50-55 degrees for 30 minutes and separation draft.
The disadvantage of this method is the low efficiency of wastewater treatment from copper ions and the high cost of treatment due to the high cost of the sorbent and the additional costs of technological operations for heating and settling the solution.
60-80% (RU №2137717, C02F 1/28, C02F 1/62, 20.09.1999).The closest in technical essence to the claimed technical solution is the prototype method for purification of wastewater from copper ions, which is based on filtering through a sorbent layer with a thickness of 0.5-0.6 m, and quartz-glauconite sand with a content of glauconite 60-80% (RU No. 2137717, C02F 1/28, C02F 1/62, 09/20/1999).
The disadvantage of this method is the low filtration rate, which leads to an increase in cleaning time, high consumption of sorbent.
The problem to which the invention is directed is to increase the filtration rate during wastewater treatment, which leads to a reduction in cleaning time, and a decrease in the height of the sorbent layer, which leads to its savings.
The problem in the proposed solution is achieved by the fact that in the method of treating wastewater from copper ions, including treatment with a sorbent, crushed foam gypsum waste is used as a sorbent, and purification is carried out by filtration through a sorbent with a layer thickness of 0.075-0.09 m.
EXAMPLE OF SPECIFIC IMPLEMENTATION.
The proposed method is as follows. As the filter material, crushed foam gypsum waste is used.
Foam gypsum is a complex composite material obtained by mixing and reacting gypsum, a protein-based foaming agent and water.
For sorption, foam gypsum waste with grain sizes of 0.114-0.315 mm was used, which corresponds to the requirements for filtering materials. Filtration was carried out in a column with a diameter of 30 mm and a height of 400 mm.
Wastewater containing copper ions was filtered. The thickness of the sorbent layer is 0.075-0.09 m, the mass of the sorbent (15-25 g), the filtration rate was assumed to be 4 m / h, which corresponds to the filtration rate in real filters at wastewater treatment plants. Sampling was carried out at the end of the filtration time. The concentration of copper ions was determined. The degree of purification of water from heavy metal ions was monitored using an atomic absorption spectrometer.
The table shows the results obtained on the quality of wastewater treatment for a fraction of 0.114-0.315 mm.
An additional advantage of using foam gypsum waste as a sorbent is the ability to clean copper ions with a higher initial concentration compared to the prototype and the ability to replace natural material (quartz-glauconite sand) with foam gypsum waste.
