Description
The invention can be used in children's toys, as well as for obtaining colorful images used to create decorative mosaics, multi-color stained-glass windows, in devices in psychological relief rooms.
с. Known kaleidoscope containing a cylindrical body, with one end having an inspection hole, and on the other a camera with walls of translucent material with forming (pattern-forming) elements. Inside the housing there is a hollow prism with a mirrored inner surface. There is an additional forming element that moves along one of the faces of the prism in the form of a tape [a.s. USSR No. 1365024, IPC G02B 27/08, 1986].
The disadvantage is too quick change of kaleidoscopic patterns, which creates a "ripple effect".
с. Known kaleidoscope containing a cylindrical body, inside of which is placed a hollow prism with an internal mirror surface. The device has a viewing window from one end, and from the other, a chamber with forming (pattern-forming) elements, the prism consisting of several hollow prisms sequentially located along the kaleidoscope axis with an internal mirror surface mounted to rotate independently or jointly with each other around the kaleidoscope axis friend [a.s. USSR No. 1735793, IPC G02B 27/08, 1992].
The disadvantage of a kaleidoscope is that the flat patterns change too quickly due to the movement of the forming elements and the complexity of the design.
Closest to the technical nature of the claimed device is a kaleidoscope in which the object that creates the image is a vessel filled with liquid with pieces of various substances in suspension [a.s. USSR No. 67862, NPK 42h, 24; priority 07/01/1944, author V.V. Arshinov]. This kaleidoscope consists of a horizontal round cardboard tube with mirrors of a conventional kaleidoscope equipped with a polaroid analyzer, in which a black polarizer mirror and a vessel with elements for kaleidoscopic images (pattern-forming elements) are placed. A vessel (hermetic chamber) made of transparent plastic is filled with a transparent viscous or heavy birefringent liquid with birefringent solid crystals floating in it. In this kaleidoscope, colorless pattern-forming elements, for example, from mica slices, while in suspension in a liquid, produce images painted in beautiful bright colors due to the interference of polarized light. These colors can be changed without changing the image, by rotating the polaroid analyzer around the kaleidoscope tube. While in suspension, the pattern-forming elements, when rotating or shaking a kaleidoscope, slowly move in the central part of the chamber, painted in bright interference colors observed in the viewing hole.
A disadvantage of the known kaleidoscope is the design complexity due to the use of a special optical device - the polaroid analyzer and the creation of images that slowly change only in the central part of the camera due to the fact that the pattern-forming elements are always in suspension.
The task to which the invention is directed is to simplify the design and expand the demonstration capabilities of the device.
The technical result that can be obtained by implementing the invention is the creation of a smooth counter-directional movement of pattern-forming elements in the space of a sealed chamber with a viscous fluid. As a result of this movement, heavy elements from glass fall down, and light from plastic rise up and, reflected in a mirror prism, create a multi-colored kaleidoscopic picture moving in space.
The problem is solved in that in a kaleidoscope, consisting of a lightproof cylindrical body with a viewing hole in the end, there is a hollow trihedral prism with an internal mirror surface, and behind it in another part of the body there is a sealed chamber made of transparent plastic. This chamber is filled with a viscous fluid and pattern-forming elements are placed in it, and they are made of multi-colored pieces of glass and plastic. In the housing at the level of placement of the sealed chamber, radially directed holes are made for additional illumination of the pattern-forming elements with side light. In addition, the housing can be made integral or detachable, consisting of two coaxially (coaxially) located parts, with the possibility of turning clockwise or counterclockwise parts of the housing with a sealed chamber relative to the housing part with a mirror prism. For this, an annular recess is made on one part of the body, and a protrusion corresponding to it on the other.
To enhance the spectacular effect, a nozzle is installed on a part of the body with a sealed chamber, including a board with LEDs and batteries.
To create a good mood, a miniature musical device is also introduced into the nozzle.

The kaleidoscope consists of a light-tight cylindrical body with a small viewing hole 1 at one end for observing kaleidoscopic images covered with transparent glass, and on the other a sealed chamber 2 made of transparent plastic. Between them, inside the case, there is a hollow trihedral prism 3 with a mirrored inner surface. Inside the chamber 2, multi-colored pieces of various substances are placed, the so-called “pattern-forming elements” with different specific gravities - some elements 4 are light, for example, made of colored plastic, other elements 5 are heavy, for example, made of glass. The sealed chamber 2 is filled with a viscous transparent liquid, for example glycerin, with heavy pattern-forming elements 5 lying below, and light elements 4 located in the upper layer of viscous liquid.
The sealed chamber 2 with pattern-forming elements 4 and 5 can be filled with two types of immiscible liquids, for example silicone (polymethylsiloxane) and water. In this case, the heavy elements 5 lie at the bottom, and the light elements 4 are located in the upper layer of silicone fluid, bordering the lower layer of water.
The fluids and materials of the pattern-forming elements are selected experimentally, it is important that part of the pattern-forming elements in this fluid fall down, and the other part floats up.
2.If the average density of the pattern-forming element is less than the density of the liquid, then it will be immersed in the liquid only partially, but if the density of the pattern-forming element is significantly higher than the density of the liquid, then this element will be below the bottom of the sealed chamber 2.
In the housing, at the level of placement of the sealed chamber 2, radially directed holes 6 are made for the purpose of additional lateral illumination and more clear reflection in the prism 3 mirrors of pattern-forming elements 4 and 5. In addition, the housing can be made integral or detachable, consisting of two coaxially located parts 7 and 8, with the possibility of rotation of the housing part with a sealed chamber 7 relative to the housing part with a mirror prism 8. For this purpose, an annular recess 9 is made on the housing part 8, and on the housing part 7 there is a corresponding the protrusion 10 corresponding to it. On the housing from the location of the sealed chamber 2, a
6.The device works as follows: when shaking or rotating a kaleidoscope relative to the longitudinal axis in a sealed chamber 2 filled with a transparent viscous liquid, the pattern-forming elements 4 are made of plastic, that is, light, slowly rise and float up, and heavier elements 5 of glass slowly fall down, reflected by mirrors of a trihedral prism 3. Smooth and counter-directional movement of colored pattern-forming elements 4 and 5 makes it possible to observe a change in kaleidoscopic colors in the inspection hole 1 tny patterns in dynamics. A kaleidoscopic picture formed by multicolored pattern-forming elements located in space, as if “comes to life”. Entertainment increase the rays of light passing into the camera 2 through the side holes 6.
The detachable housing design allows you to rotate a part of the body with a sealed chamber 7 with an existing protrusion 10 relative to the part of the body with a mirror prism 8 with an annular recess 9 made clockwise or counterclockwise and observe unique, unusually beautiful color patterns that smoothly change in space under the action of rotation parts of the body with a sealed chamber.
In order to expand the demonstration capabilities, a
