Abstract
Description
The field of technology.
The invention relates to a method for manually mixing the starting components to obtain the target product directly at the place of its use and to the construction of a film sectioned container mixer for implementing this method.
Products that are expedient to be obtained by manual mixing of the starting components directly at the application site due to their low survivability or shelf life of products include, first of all, household and industrial chemistry products, such as two- and three-component systems for adhesives, putties, and foam sealants , thermal protection and foam packaging, reaction systems for industrial thermal insulation of joints of heating mains, small building and fodder mixtures, artificial soils for growing seedlings, food and medicines you to use in the field of transport and environment. Such products are obtained by combining their starting components in a common mixing chamber of a film mixer container (combining is done by removing a sealed partition between the individual film sections containing the starting components) and then thoroughly mixing the components by external manual action on the mixing chamber to achieve homogenization of the mixture ( uniform mutual distribution of components or uniform chemical reaction between them), which leads to quality target product.
In the film sectionalized container mixer, which has received significant practical distribution for the production of polyurethane foam thermal insulation and for packaging purposes, the initial components A (polyol as one component) and B (isocyanate component) are stored in the required proportion in separate sealed sections. Sections are formed by dividing the total volume of the film container (such as a bag) using a septum, but capable of eliminating at the right time, partition. The common chamber for mixing the starting components is formed, as indicated above, by depressurizing the sections between themselves. Mixing the components to the level of homogenization of the mixture is carried out by repeatedly periodically manually pressing the operator’s hands (product user) with the palms of the hands of the container walls alternately opposite (polarly located relative to the main axis of the container and its sealed partition) so that the mixture of components flows at a sufficient speed from one edges of the mixing chamber to its other edge. We attribute such a film container-mixer to the “overflow mixer”. Some of their modern designs are disclosed in our patents of the Russian Federation for inventions.
н. At the same time, the further spread of manual film technology for producing products at the places of their application is constrained by a quantitative and qualitative limitation of the mass of the initial components, which can be homogenized in a film container-mixer, which implements both the principle of “flowing mixture” and the principle of “random wrinkling”. The latter method is also known from domestic practice of production and use of the so-called "Foam packs".
The level of technology.
Several fundamentally different constructions of a film sectioned container mixer are known and used in industry in several countries of the world, differing both in structural elements and in the method of manually mixing the starting components to obtain the target products at the place of use. A number of well-known designs, including those previously declared by us, implements a method of manual mixing based on the principle of "flow of the mixture" (US patents No. 5699902, 5899325, 5996782, 5873221, RF patent No. 2195283 and our RF patents No. 2245284, 2245285, ours applications for obtaining patents of the Russian Federation No. 2002125394 and No. 2006100246 dated January 10, 2006). Domestic foam packs for heat and waterproofing joints of heating mains implement a manual mixing method based on the principle of “random multiple crushing” of the mixing chamber and visual control (through the transparent film wall of this chamber) for the process.
Finnish foam packs (ABB, Alstom) operate on the principle of mechanical mixing with the help of a manual mechanical mixer integrated into this foam pack. A similar method for manually mixing the components is implemented by us in the invention according to the application for the patent No. 2002123571. The disadvantage of mechanical mixing is the relatively complex and accordingly expensive design, which inhibits its use in less profitable industries.
The method of "overflowing the mixture" and its corresponding container mixers do not allow high-quality processing of components weighing more than 1.0 kg. The “crumple” method does not make it possible to produce high-quality products and requires a lot of time for manual mixing, which often goes beyond the “survivability” of the mixed mixture of components. In addition, highly viscous systems are not subject to him.
There is also known a method of obtaining a therapeutic aqueous solution containing dissolved in it carbon dioxide in a film two-section sealed container (US patent No. 4929499). This method includes operations:
а) загрузку водного раствора в первую пленочную камеру контейнера,a) loading an aqueous solution into the first film chamber of the container,
б) загрузку сухого порошка терапевтического вещества во вторую пленочную камеру,b) loading the dry powder of the therapeutic substance into the second film chamber,
C) the formation of the passage between the chambers to combine the aqueous solution and powder,
г) смешивание водного раствора и порошка методом обычного для медицины (немногократного, не более нескольких раз) встряхивания или другим методом смешивания (мы полагаем методом «мятия» или «передавливания», когда объем получаемого терапевтического раствора составляет более 300 см).d) mixing the aqueous solution and powder by the method usual for medicine (multiple (not more than several times)) by shaking or by another method of mixing (we assume by the method of “crushing” or “crushing” when the volume of the obtained therapeutic solution is more than 300 cm).
The disadvantage of the method of mixing the components according to US patent No. 4929499, if it is considered as a manual mixing method common in medicine - shaking easily soluble powder and liquid several times, is the extremely limited area of its use (it is so limited described in this patent), only for combining well instant components taken in small quantities. Viscous, poorly compatible and sparingly soluble substances, taken in amounts of more than 300-500 ml, it is not possible to process using the method of this patent. The general chamber for mixing them here may not have the necessary form stability (rigidity) for intensive repeated shaking (agitation). If the author mentions, along with others, the method of shaking, then this is only (we repeat) for small amounts of well-compatible components - water and powder, and only when the film mixing chamber has a small volume and, therefore, some constant shape stability due to low rigidity the multilayer walls themselves and their joints in the container. With large volumes, such a film chamber cannot manifest its rigidity and therefore cannot be used to mix large masses of components and, moreover, poorly compatible with each other. It is no coincidence that the author of this patent, along with his mention for mixing water and powder by conventional shaking, recommends other mixing methods. The author is forced to give such a general recommendation, since he deals with component volumes of more than 300 ml, when the conventional shaking method is not applicable for a film container, even having multilayer walls (some constant stiffness). The obvious solution is to increase the rigidity of the mixing chamber by selecting more rigid film materials for it. But then the advantages of the elasticity of the film container are lost: cheapness in manufacture and availability, elimination of large losses of viscous products on the walls when emptying the container, reduced transport volume and storage, and accordingly - reduced transportation costs, simplified disposal, warehousing and storage, a wide range of sizes and starting materials, the speed of heating of the reaction components (in a thin layer) to activate them at the place of use.
Disclosure of the invention.
The objective of the invention is to create a method of intensive manual mixing of the starting components of different consistencies and masses to obtain a wide range of target products directly at the place of their use, as well as creating for the implementation of this method the corresponding design of a film sectioned container mixer.
According to the invention, the method of manually mixing the components to obtain the product at the place of use in a film container-mixer, partitioned to store these components using a sealed partition, consists in repeatedly intensively shaking (shaking) the contents of the common mixing chamber, which is formed by removing the sealed partition and which has sufficient temporary stiffness (dimensional stability), temporary maximum internal volume and is filled, along with the main components, so the same inert or active (in relation to the components and the product) gas under excess pressure necessary for the implementation of the specified technology in the amount of from 0.1 to 1.0 parts of the total volume of the mixed components.
При этом наполнение общей камеры смешивания инертным или активным газом проводят путем предварительного заполнения, по меньшей мере, одной основной секции контейнера-смесителя компонентом и указанным газом или заполняют этим газом вспомогательную его секцию, и последующего за этим сворачивания краев общей камеры (см. фиг.1) до придания ей формы с максимальным внутренним объемом и достаточной (для встряхивания содержимого камеры) временной жесткостью (формоустойчивостью);In this case, filling the common mixing chamber with an inert or active gas is carried out by pre-filling at least one main section of the mixer container with the component and the specified gas, or filling its auxiliary section with this gas, and then folding the edges of the common chamber (see Fig. 1) until it is shaped with a maximum internal volume and sufficient (for shaking the contents of the camera) temporary stiffness (dimensional stability);
и/илиand / or
- наполнение общей камеры инертным или активным газом до придания этой камере временного максимального внутреннего объема и достаточной временной жесткости проводят путем подачи указанного газа извне, в момент подготовки общей камеры к перемешиванию компонентов, через отдельное устройство подачи газа или через устройство для извлечения конечного продукта из общей камеры смешивания.- filling the common chamber with an inert or active gas until this chamber is given a temporary maximum internal volume and sufficient temporary stiffness is carried out by supplying said gas from the outside, at the time the common chamber is prepared for mixing the components, through a separate gas supply device or through a device for extracting the final product from the total mixing chambers.
The inventive method for manually mixing the components in a film container-mixer replaces the relatively slow “flowing of the mixture” and unsystematic “wrinkling” with a more energetic intensive process - multiple shaking (shaking) of the mixture of components in a gaseous medium, moving the mixture in a common chamber from one wall to its opposite wall (and the movement of this chamber relative to the mixture) at a higher speed. And due to the absorption of relatively high kinetic energy (when hitting an opposing wall-obstacle) by breaking the mixture into small mutually penetrating fragments. As a result, the mixing time is reduced, the level of homogenization and the quality of the target product are increased, less dependence is created on the viscosity of the starting components and on their processed mass.
The claimed lower limit of filling the common chamber with gas (0.1 volume parts of the total volume of the components in it) is due to the need to have sufficient space to move the entire mixture, the entire volume of the components before they hit the opposite wall of the chamber.
The upper limit (1.0) is due to economic considerations (the higher it is, the more film material will be required for the manufacture of the container-mixer), as well as the viscosity of the starting components (the more viscous the components, the more free space of the common chamber to mix them).
Для реализации заявляемого способа ручного смешивания компонентов здесь заявляется также оригинальная конструкция пленочного контейнера-смесителя. Согласно изобретению контейнер-смеситель состоит из пленочных секций, соединенных через герметичную перегородку и содержащих исходные компоненты для получения целевого продукта путем их смешивания в общей камере после устранения герметичной перегородки, а также включает устройство для извлечения конечного продукта. При этом, по меньшей мере, одна секция контейнера-смесителя или его вспомогательная секция содержит инертный или активный газ, взятый в объеме от 0,1 до 1,0 части от суммарного объема смешиваемых компонентов, который обеспечивает общей камере максимальный внутренний объем и достаточную временную жесткость (формоустойчивость), а также временный свободный объем в момент встряхивания содержимого общей камеры; и/или пленочный контейнер-смеситель содержит часть своего корпуса для образования устройства для подачи в общую камеру инертного или активного газа извне (см. фиг.2, п.6);To implement the proposed method for manual mixing of the components, the original design of the film container-mixer is also claimed here. According to the invention, the container-mixer consists of film sections connected through an airtight partition and containing the starting components to obtain the target product by mixing them in a common chamber after removing the airtight partition, and also includes a device for extracting the final product. At the same time, at least one section of the mixer container or its auxiliary section contains an inert or active gas taken in a volume of from 0.1 to 1.0 parts of the total volume of the components to be mixed, which provides the maximum volume and sufficient time for the common chamber stiffness (dimensional stability), as well as the temporary free volume at the time of shaking the contents of the common chamber; and / or the film container-mixer contains a part of its body for forming a device for supplying an inert or active gas from the outside into the common chamber (see Fig. 2, item 6);
и/или устройство для извлечения продукта служит одновременно устройством для подачи указанного газа извне.and / or a device for extracting the product simultaneously serves as a device for supplying the specified gas from the outside.
To increase the level of homogenization of the mixture of components, especially for cases of their relatively low viscosity (medical preparations), the container-mixer may additionally contain an activator-grid and / or activator in the form of petals attached to the walls of the common chamber in the area of the geometric center of the common chamber.
The preferred embodiment of the invention is the presence of the following elements in the structure:
- устройства для подачи в общую камеру инертного или активного газа извне, выполненного на принципе самовсасывания, например, в виде свободного прохода (отверстие в корпусе), образуемого за счет удаления (ввиду соответствующей прочности) части, преимущественно угловой, корпуса контейнера или образуемого за счет устраняемой дополнительной герметичной перегородки (фиг.2. п.7), и/или образуемого в устройстве для извлечения конечного продукта из контейнера-смесителя;- devices for supplying an inert or active gas from the outside to the common chamber, made on the principle of self-absorption, for example, in the form of a free passage (hole in the housing) formed by removing (due to the corresponding strength) part, mainly angular, of the container body or formed by removable additional sealed walls (Fig.2. p. 7), and / or formed in the device for extracting the final product from the container-mixer;
- максимальный внутренний объем общей камеры смешивания установлен из соотношения- the maximum internal volume of the total mixing chamber is set from the ratio
Vвн>ΣVк+ΔVп=(1,1÷2,0)ΣVк,V ext> ΣV to + ΔV p = (1,1 ÷ 2,0) ΣV k
где Vвн - максимальный внутренний объем общей камеры смешивания,where V VN is the maximum internal volume of the common mixing chamber,
ΣVк - суммарный объем смешиваемых компонентов,ΣV to - the total volume of the mixed components,
ΔVп - прирост внутреннего объема контейнера за счет устранения герметичной перегородки и реализации формоустойчивости конструкции;ΔV p - the increase in the internal volume of the container due to the elimination of the sealed partition and the implementation of dimensional stability of the structure;
фиг.3, п.12) и/или- at least one of the walls of the section, mainly the lower one when the common chamber is in the form of a pyramid or cone, is form-stable as a whole or along its perimeter (see Fig. 3, item 10) and / or a sealed partition separating the sections is dimensionally stable along its perimeter (see Fig. 3, item 12) and / or
- контейнер-смеситель содержит дополнительные формоустойчивые элементы, позволяющие реализовать указанный принцип самовсасывания, и/или- the container mixer contains additional form-stable elements that allow you to implement the specified principle of self-priming, and / or
- контейнер-смеситель содержит захваты для изменения его внутреннего объема воздействием извне в виде колец и/или выступов и/или прорезей.- the container-mixer contains grips for changing its internal volume by external action in the form of rings and / or protrusions and / or slots.
For efficient mixing of large masses of components (more than 5 kg), when the direct manual classical shaking of their mixture is limited by the physical data of the human operator, the maximum internal volume of the common chamber is established from the ratio:
Vвн≥2ΣVк. V ext ≥2ΣV k.
This makes it possible to use gravitational forces for manual shaking of components by means of vertical (along the main axis of the container) alternating quick and intensive overturning of the common chamber. As a result, the process of manual mixing by shaking is greatly facilitated and becomes available up to 7-12 kg of the starting components.

The implementation of the invention.
The inventive method of manually mixing the components to obtain the target product in a film sectionalized container mixer and its design can be implemented on a pilot scale for the production of technical chemistry products without additional technological studies, since the Russian market has the necessary starting film materials and chemical components and since our experimental data sufficiently substantiate the foregoing. In addition, our previous patents of the Russian Federation (indicated above) describe in detail the technology for selecting film materials for the manufacture of film mixer containers. Today, this technology is known to specialists.
The manufacturing technology of the form-resistant wall, the perimeter of the sealed partition or additional form-stable (rigid) structural elements (
В качестве конкретного примера осуществления изобретения приводится опытный пленочный контейнер-смеситель (пенопакет монтажный - «ПМ») и способ получения в нем (при ручном смешивании) реакционной полиуретановой системы «Изолан-352», которые предназначены для теплоизоляции стыков теплопроводов диаметром 57/125 мм непосредственно на месте их монтажа (в полевых условиях).As a specific embodiment of the invention, an experimental film container-mixer is provided (mounting foam - “PM”) and a method for producing therein (with manual mixing) the Izolan-352 polyurethane reaction system, which are intended for thermal insulation of heat pipe joints with a diameter of 57/125 mm directly at the place of their installation (in the field).
Размеры контейнера в наполненном компонентами и воздухом состоянии даны на фиг.4 (толщина его - 50 мм) в -мм-.The prototype film container-mixer is shown schematically in figure 4 and was made of a 3-layer film material (polyethylene - aluminum foil - polyethylene terephthalate) by heat welding. Sections “A” and “B” are formed using a mechanical clamp (bracket in the bracket) - 14. The dimensions of the container in the state filled with components and air are given in Fig. 4 (its thickness is 50 mm) in -mm-.
The container was filled with components “B” (220 g or 180.6 cm 3 ) and “A” (130 g or 122.6 cm 3 ) and air through the device (6) to extract the product from the container. Control samples (to compare mixing methods) were not filled with air.
According to the results of filling the sections with components “A” and “B” in the indicated quantity and with air in the volume of 303.0 cm 3, its amount was 1.0 part of the total volume (180.6 + 122.6) = 303.2 cm 3 of components .
Obtaining a reaction polyurethane system was carried out by removing the mechanical clamp and then folding the container according to the scheme of Fig. 1 from the side of section “B” until the container was given the necessary temporary stiffness (shape stability) to a state similar to a “inflated ball”. Then, by repeatedly shaking the contents of the container for 15 s, the components “A” and “B” were mixed together and partially with air capture. Then, part of the device (6) was cut off and the stream of the formed reaction system (starting time - 55 s, gel time - 179 s) flowing from the container (under its own weight) was directed into the channel of the insulated pipe joint. Received a uniformly porous rigid polyurethane foam with a bulk weight of 60-70 kg / m 3 , against an uneven porous polyurethane foam with a bulk weight of 20-80 kg / m 3 when mixing these components in a similar container (without air) by the method of "crushing" and "unsystematic wrinkling ".
Industrial applicability
The applicant organized a pilot industrial production of film containers for mixers of thirty sizes to obtain on-site (thermal insulation of pipe joints in the field) pouring Izolyan-352 rigid polyurethane foam based on polyol as one component A and isocyanate component B. The foaming of the system is carried out chemically - gas released during the interaction of water (included in the polyol as one component) and isocyanate component "B".
