Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the production of preforms from powders of heat-resistant nickel alloys that are resistant to oxidation at elevated temperatures and operating under heavy loading.
B22F 3/10).A known method for the production of preforms of powder heat-resistant alloys, including processing the powder material with ammonium salts of complexones, filling the material into a mold, heating it in vacuum from 20 to 300 ° C at a speed of 2-4 deg / min, holding at this temperature for 0.5 -1 hour and subsequent cooling (SU, US Pat. No. 1593042 class. B22F 3/10).
When implementing this method, the sintering of the powder material occurs without the use of a protective and reducing atmosphere and in an unpressurized form, because of which pores can form in the structure of the sintered blanks.
A known method for the production of blanks from powder alloys, including filling powder material into a capsule, shaking, step heating and liquid phase sintering (compacting) (RU Pat. No. 2224622, 2002, class B22F 3/24). The disadvantage of this method is that compliance with the proposed heating mode requires significant energy and time, and the draft of the workpiece requires the use of expensive press equipment with a pressing force of about 12 thousand tons and isothermal blocks. Otherwise, cracks appear on the surface of the deposited preform.
The objective of the present invention is to achieve a technical result, which is expressed in providing the macro- and microstructure of preforms from powder alloys, shortening the cycle of obtaining preforms in time and creating isothermal conditions when compacting powder material in a gas bath.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of manufacturing billets of powder alloys, including filling powder material into a capsule, shaking and liquid-phase sintering, hot or isostatic pressing (HIP) is carried out before or after liquid-phase sintering, and liquid-phase sintering is carried out under the following conditions: first, heating is performed powder material to a temperature of Ts ± 10 ° C with holding for 10-20 min, where Ts is the solidus temperature, then the temperature is raised to Ts + (10-25) ° C with holding for 10-20 minutes and lyayut heating to a temperature T 1 - (5 ÷ 25) ° C, where T 1 - liquidus temperature was held for 10-30 minutes, then the preform is first cooled to 10-40 ° C below the solidus temperature (Ts) and held at its 15-30 minutes, then cooled to 1000 ± 10 ° C with an exposure of 15-30 minutes, after which the final cooling of the workpiece with the furnace is carried out.
In the preferred embodiment, after compacting, the workpiece is subjected to hot deformation, for example, isothermal rolling, for example, the total degree of deformation of the workpiece during rolling does not exceed: where K is a coefficient greater than 0.3, h 0 is the height of the workpiece before deformation, h 1 is the height of the workpiece after deformation. In a preferred embodiment, liquid-phase sintering of the powder material in the capsule is carried out in an inert atmosphere, in vacuum, or in a combination of vacuum and filling the working chamber with gas. In this case, liquid phase sintering is carried out either before its hot isostatic pressing, or after. In addition, liquid-phase sintering of the powder material and hot isostatic pressing of the sintered billet is carried out both in one apparatus (gas bath) and in different ones, varying the technological parameters of the processes, and after hot isostatic pressing, the billet is subjected to isothermal rolling without removing it from the capsule. In this case, hot isostatic pressing of the workpiece is carried out at a pressure of 120-150 MPa at a temperature of at least Ts- (10 ÷ 30 ° C) and holding this temperature for at least 2 hours, and before deformation, the workpiece is kept for 4 hours at a temperature of at least Ts- (60 ÷ 100 ° C), then cool it to a rolling temperature.
The following are examples of the implementation of the claimed method.
1.Example 1
The capsule with powder heat-resistant nickel alloy EP741NP was subjected to hot isostatic pressing and liquid-phase sintering. At the first stage (ISU), the pressure was 150 MPa, the temperature was 1200 ± 10 ° C, and the exposure time was 2.5 hours. After the ISU, the capsule was removed from the gas bath and placed in a furnace operating both in the vacuum mode and under the pressure of the working gas and sintered with the liquid phase. The exposure time during sintering is 20 minutes, the temperature of liquid-phase sintering is 1285 ± 5 °. Studies have shown that, compared with the workpiece obtained by one HIP, after HIP and liquid phase sintering of the samples, the tensile strength of the samples (σ c ) increased by 30 MPa, and the material structure (porosity and grain size) corresponded to the current technical conditions. This preform was subjected to hot deformation with a degree of deformation of up to 60%. After liquid phase sintering and ISU, the density of the preform reached 8.27 g / cm 3 , which corresponds to the density of a monolithic metal. In this case, powerful press equipment with a pressing force of 12 thousand tons and a press tool made of a molybdenum alloy, the weight of which is about 0.5 tons, as well as an isothermal block, were not required.
2.Example 2
0,8.EP741NP powder nickel alloy was placed in a metal capsule and subjected to liquid-phase sintering in a furnace in vacuum, and then under an argon pressure of 0.1 MPa. Sintering temperature: powder alloy was heated to 1240 ± 10 ° С without controlling its speed. At this temperature, the alloy was kept for 15 minutes, then at a temperature of 1250 ° C for 15 minutes. Final sintering was carried out at a temperature of 1285 ° C and holding for 20 minutes. The sintered billet was first cooled to 1200 ° C with holding for 20 minutes, then to 1000 ° C and holding for 15 minutes, and then cooled with the oven. As a result, a preform with a porosity of ~ 7% was obtained (determined by preliminary studies). In the capsule, the preform was placed in a gas thermostat. HIP was produced there at P = 140 MPa, t ° = 1215 ° C, and holding for 2.5 hours (without liquid phase sintering). With a degree of deformation of 5-6%, such preforms obtained by one ISU are usually destroyed. In our case, subsequent deformation with a degree of up to 30% (hot rolling) produces a workpiece — a part with specified dimensions and with minimal machining. In this case, the utilization of the metal increases from 0.2 to 0.8.
