В составе смеси используют зрелые орехи каштана несъедобных видов. Орехи подвергают термической обработке (прокаливанию) при 120-170°С в течение 30-60 мин, исключающей их биологическую активность - прорастание во влажной среде. Цемент, гипс, известь, хлорид кальция перемешивают. К полученной массе добавляют орехи, в том числе разрушившиеся вследствие внутренних напряжений, все компоненты вновь перемешивают, добавляя воду до достижения требуемого водоцементного отношения.The composition of the mixture uses ripe chestnut nuts of inedible species.
