Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a rock cutting tool, namely to disk bits, and can be used when drilling wells for various purposes.
Е21В 10/12, 1969 г).Known drill disk bit containing a housing and mounted on a horizontal axis using double row sliding bearings disks with milled or carbide teeth (ed. St. USSR No. 250794, CL E 10/12, 1969).
The disadvantage of this bit is the rapid loss of diameter due to unilateral wear of the bit support.
Е21В 10/12, 1992 г).The closest to the proposed technical essence and the achieved level is a disk drill bit containing a U-shaped body, an axis fixed in the body with disk cones mounted on it and ring bearings placed between the inner end surfaces of the disk cones (ed. St. USSR No. 1705538 CL 11/12, 1992).
The disadvantages of this bit include the impossibility of synchronizing the operation of disk cones, which in the case of jamming of one of the cones leads to uneven wear of the armament of the bit, and as a result of this, to a decrease in penetration and drilling speed.
In accordance with the stated technical objective of the invention is to increase the penetration and drilling speed due to the synchronization of disk cones.
The specified technical problem is solved in that in a disk drill bit containing a U-shaped body, an axis fixed in the body with disk cones mounted on it and ring stops placed between the inner end surfaces of the disk cones, according to the invention, the internal end surfaces of the disk cones and ring stops made in the form of bevel gears installed with the possibility of interaction between each other.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing, which shows a General view of the bit in section.
The drill bit contains a U-shaped body 1 with a horizontal axis 3, on which are mounted disk cones 2 and ring stops 4, located between the inner end surfaces 5 of the disk cones 3. Case 1 can be made in the form of a single part or in the form of two elements rigidly connected by thread or welding. In this case, the inner end surfaces 5 of the disk cones 3 and the ring stops 4 are made in the form of bevel gears 7 installed with the possibility of interaction between each other. The ring stops 4 are mounted on the horizontal axis 3 by means of additional axles 6, which are rigidly fixed on the axis 3 and mounted perpendicular to it. The ring stops 4 are mounted on the vertical axles 6 by means of bearings 8 with the possibility of rotation.
2.The principle of operation of the bit is as follows. When the bit is rotated, the disk cones 2 rotate around the horizontally fixed axis 3 of the bit in the opposite direction. When this ring stops 4, made in the form of bevel gears 7, are in contact with the inner end surfaces 5 of both disk cones 2, also made in the form of gear bevel gears, and due to this constantly rotate around their fixed axes 6. Axes 6 are fixed in radial channels evenly spaced around the circumference of the axis 2 bits. Due to the use of annular stops 4, the diameter of which is several times greater than the diameter of the balls commonly used in roller bearings, the wear of the support is significantly reduced and the performance of the bit as a whole is increased. This contributes to the implementation of the ring stops 4 and the inner end surfaces 5 of the disk cones 2 in the form of bevel gears 7 interacting with each other and ensuring synchronization of the operation of both disk cones 2, excluding their slippage relative to the bottom of the well. When one of the disk cones 2 is jammed, due to its gear engagement with the ring stops 4, it is driven into rotation from the other disk cone 2 through the gear engagement of the ring stops 4 with the disk cones 2.
Thus, through the use of gearing between the disk cones 2 and the ring stops 4, the uniform loading of both disk cones 2 is ensured and, as a result, an increase in both penetration and drilling speed.
