Abstract
Description
Изобретение относится к радиотехнике, а именно к антенной технике, и может быть использовано при проектировании антенных устройств с уменьшенной эффективной площадью рассеяния (ЭПР).The invention relates to radio engineering, namely to antenna technology, and can be used in the design of antenna devices with a reduced effective scattering area (EPR).
One of the main structural elements of modern aircraft, making a significant, up to 30% or more, contribution to their EPR in the sectors of the front hemisphere, are antennas of avionics (avionics). Of all the avionics, the largest contribution to the EPR of the aircraft is made by the bow antenna compartment with the antenna of the airborne radar station. Various measures are taken to reduce the visibility of avionics avionics, including the replacement of reflector parabolic antennas with active phased antenna arrays (AFAR) / 1 /. Due to this, the problem of reducing the levels of reflections from equipment elements located behind the antenna opening is solved. In addition, the receiving-emitting AFAR modules can be installed on a low-reflecting base (plane), where, in contrast to the waveguide-slotted PARs, their EPR levels are mainly determined by reflection from the radiating elements of the modules. However, at present, the task of creating subtle antennas cannot be considered completely solved; therefore, original technical solutions, which make it possible to approach its solution, are of particular value.
The closest technical solution to the proposed one is an antenna with a reduced backscatter surface 1 (Fig. 1) / 2 /, containing at least one
The purpose of the work is to reduce the effective antenna scattering area in the band of its working frequencies.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the known device of the antenna with a reduced backscatter surface 1 (Fig. 2), containing at least two
Let us explain this technical solution. We will consider the disclosure of the known antenna with emitters as a flat conductive surface with dimensions exceeding the working wavelength. Such a common-mode surface has a maximum back reflection pattern, which coincides with the normal to the plane / 3 /. From the theory of designing antennas and microwave devices / 4 / it is known that vibrators, dielectric rod, helical and slot emitters, etc., whose transverse dimensions, depending on the type of emitter, are in the range of 0.4λ, are usually used as headlight emitters up to 1.2λ, i.e. commensurate with the working wavelength. Taking into account the directed properties of the emitters, the limiting distances between them in the grating are established. In this case, they are guided by the fact that the common-mode addition of the fields of individual emitters occurs within the main diffraction maximum (radiation pattern), and the remaining diffraction maxima of the higher orders are absent. To fulfill this condition, for example, the distance between the emitters can be no more than 0.58λ ... 0.68λ. Thus, for the elementary reflecting portion of the antenna aperture, you can approximately take a flat conductive plate within the geometrical dimensions of one emitter, commensurate with the working wavelength. Figure 3 shows the diagrams of the back reflection of flat conductive square plates with a rib length comparable with the wavelength / 5 /. The shape of the diagrams shows that for such wave sizes, an individual emitter can be considered as an independent quasi-isotropic reflector.
To ensure the condition of equality of the amplitudes of the waves reflected from the surfaces of the emitters of the first and second half of the total number of emitters, it is necessary to observe the equality of their areas
Иначе говоря, гашение падающей волны происходит при сдвиге ее фазы φ на π,regardless of the shape and method of their placement, where S 1 and S 2 the total surface area, respectively, of the first and second half of the total number of emitters (figure 4). Their spatial displacement relative to each other by an odd number of quarters of the wavelength ensures the antiphase of waves reflected from surfaces of emitters of the same area. At a given distance between the surfaces of the emitters, the addition of reflected waves in antiphase occurs. In other words, the quenching of the incident wave occurs when its phase φ is shifted by π,
т.е. при сдвиге на расстояние h, равное нечетному числу четвертей длины волныthose. when shifted by a distance h equal to an odd number of quarters of wavelength
где n=0, 1, 2, 3,....where n = 0, 1, 2, 3, ....
(1).In order for the offset of half the number of emitters by a distance according to (3) not to worsen the electronic-phase distribution control process during electronic scanning, it is necessary to provide a structurally introduced phase change according to (2) on the aperture surface of the antenna in the phase shifters of each biased emitter. Obviously, in some cases it is easier to spatially shift not individual emitters, but the same number of emitter groups, the so-called sublattices / 4 /, but it is also necessary to observe condition (1).
A radar antenna with a reduced effective scattering area works as follows. A flat front of an electromagnetic wave falls on the antenna opening. Frequency selection devices with predetermined band-pass characteristics transmit electromagnetic radiation in the operating frequency band of the antenna, and outside this band they reflect radiation in different directions, excluding reverse re-reflections to the side of the radiation source. Electromagnetic radiation in the operating frequency band of the antenna, passing the selection device, is reflected from the first half of the emitters spatially spaced relative to the second half of the emitters along the radiation direction at the same distance equal to an odd number of a quarter of the average working wavelength. The equality of the number of the first and second emitters both in number and in surface area ensures equal amplitudes of the reflected waves, and a shift by a distance equal to an odd number of a quarter of the average working wavelength leads to the addition of these waves in antiphase. Thus, re-reflections of the electromagnetic wave from the antenna in the direction of the normal to its opening are excluded.
