Abstract
Description
The invention relates to rolling production and can be used in the production of wide hot-rolled strips, mainly from medium-carbon steel grades.
И. - С.542 -580. Known methods of hot rolling strips, including hot rolling on a broadband mill in the roughing and finishing groups of stands with cooling strips by supplying a cooler in the inter-clearances and on the discharge roller table, followed by winding into a roll (see, for example. Rolling production technology. In 2 books. Book 2. Reference: Benyakovsky MA, Epiphany K.N., Vitkin A.I. et al. M .: Metallurgy, 1991. - P. 542-580. Pat. of the Russian Federation No. 2037536, BI No. 17, 1995, RF Patent No. 2120481, 1998).
A disadvantage of the known methods is the difficulty of providing the rental with a given uniform microstructure, especially in the production of hot-rolled strips from medium-carbon steel grades. This makes it difficult to further process the hot-rolled tackle into a cold-rolled strip.
А.С. СССР №1196391).The closest analogue to the claimed object in terms of features is a method for the production of wide hot-rolled strips from high-carbon low-alloy steel grades, including rolling in rough and finish continuous groups of stands with a temperature of rolling end of 700-800 ° C, cooling the strip with water on the discharge roller table, followed by winding a roll at a temperature of 500-600 ° C (see AS USSR No. 1196391).
The disadvantage of this method is the lack of a clear regulation of the temperature parameters of the hot rolling and winding process depending on the final thickness of the finished strip, on the one hand, and the difficulty of ensuring a uniform perlite structure with a dispersion of not more than 4 points in the entire microstructure of rolled steel from medium carbon steel grades - with another. As a result, the efficiency of the process of processing hot-rolled rolled products into cold-rolled products is significantly reduced due to increased metal breakage and a significant length of the technological cycle. In addition, the quality of metal products is significantly reduced.
The technical problem solved by the claimed invention is the provision of a hot-rolled rolled medium-carbon steel grades of an isotropic uniformly distributed perlite structure with a dispersion of not more than 4 points by tightly regulating the temperature of the end of rolling and winding of the hot strip into a roll, depending on its final thickness.
The problem is solved in that in the known method for the production of wide hot-rolled strips, mainly with a carbon content of 0.42-0.55% and a strip thickness of not more than 5.5 mm, including heating a slab for hot rolling, rolling in rough and finish continuous groups stands with a temperature of the end of rolling 700-800 ° C, cooling the strip with water from above and below sections of the choking device on the discharge roller table, followed by winding into a roll at a temperature of 500-600 ° C, according to the invention, the temperature of the end of rolling and winding is set depending on the final thickness of the strips, while the temperature of the end of rolling is taken for strips 5.5–4.5 mm thick inclusive, no more than 780 ° C, for strips less than 4.5-3.5 mm thick inclusive, no more than 800 ° C , for strips with a thickness of less than 3.5-3.0 mm inclusively - no more than 810 ° C, for strips with a thickness less than 3.0-2.5 mm inclusive - no more than 820 ° C, and for strips with a thickness less than 2.5 mm - no more than 830 ° С, while the temperature of the winding depending on the final thickness is set for strips with a thickness of 5.5-4.5 mm inclusive - no more than 560 ° C, for strips with a thickness of less than 4.5-3.5 mm inclusive о - not more than 590 ° С, for strips with a thickness of less than 3.5-3.0 mm inclusively - not more than 600 ° С, for strips with a thickness of less than 3.0-2.5 mm inclusive - not more than 610 ° С, and for strips with a thickness of less than 2.5 mm - not more than 620 ° C.
A distinctive feature characterizing the temperature range of the end of rolling for selected medium-carbon steel grades in the range of 700-840 ° C is known. Also known is the temperature range of winding strips of 500-700 ° C (see, for example, prototype, AS USSR No. 1196391, RF Patent No. 2186641, BI No. 22, 2002). However, in the known technical solutions, the temperature parameters proposed therein are not acceptable for the claimed range of steel grades. In addition, in the known technical solutions, at the same time, there was no simultaneous strict regulation of the temperature range of the end of rolling and winding together with the final thickness of the rolled strip. It is also worth noting that in the known solutions, the temperature ranges are extended towards the lower boundary of the temperature range. This leads to the formation of unequal dispersion in the structure of rolled perlite, especially in the production of thick strips.
95%.In the present invention, the selected set of features is aimed at the possibility of ensuring in a hot-rolled strip of medium-carbon steel grades (for example, steel 45, steel 50, steel grade 50KHGFA) a homogeneous pearlite structure with a dispersion of not more than 4 points with a volume content of at least 95%.
With the claimed chemical composition of the rolled steel (medium-carbon steel grades), the following factors have a decisive influence on the formation of the microstructure of hot rolled strips:
- температура конца прокатки (ТКП);- temperature of the end of rolling (TKP);
- температура полос при их смотке в рулон.- the temperature of the strips when they are coiled.
The size and shape of austenitic grain depends on the recrystallization rate during rolling, which, in turn, depends on the total deformation in the finishing group of the mill stands, as well as on the speed, temperature of the strip and the amount of compression in the last two passes of the mill stand due to the final formation of the grain size in the single-phase region of crystallization of steel. For this, the temperature of the end of rolling must be taken equal to 760-850 ° C (to ensure the formation of the microstructure in the single-phase region of crystallization of steel). Of these conditions, the temperature of the end of the rolling (780-830 ° C) was selected in the inventive method, since it is in the indicated interval that the required equiballite perlite microstructure is obtained. These circumstances also determine the claimed temperature range of the winding in the range of 560-620 ° C, depending on the final thickness of the hot-rolled strip.
In the absence of strict temperature control at the end of rolling and winding, depending on the final thickness of the hot-rolled strip in the microstructure of steel, perlite with a dispersion of more than 4 points may appear. This leads to the fact that in the process of further processing of such a rolled product into cold-rolled metal products, on the one hand, marriage occurs, and, on the other hand, in some cases (when the perlite dispersion is more than 7 points), numerous gusts appear as at the etching stage, and at the stage of cold rolling. To form perlite of a given dispersion at the stage of hot rolling and winding, it is necessary to take into account the thickness of the strip. Since, for example, if the strip thickness is 5.5-4.5 mm inclusive, then at a temperature of rolling end of 790-810 ° C and a winding temperature above 560 ° C, a different-point perlite structure with a dispersion of 2-8 points is formed. This is because a thick strip, cooling from the surface, has a significant temperature drop across the cross section, and, in addition, when winding a thick strip into a roll, the latter has an increased heat capacity, which also worsens the conditions for the formation of an equal ball fine plate perlite.
95%.Thus, the presented set of features of the proposed method for the production of hot rolled strips allows to obtain under conditions of a hot rolling mill a tackle of medium-carbon steel grades of a thickness of not more than 5.5 mm for further processing into cold-rolled steel with the required microstructure containing uniformly distributed perlite dispersion of not more than 4- Go point with its volumetric content of at least 95%.
Based on the above analysis of known sources of information, we can conclude that for a specialist the inventive method for hot rolling of wide strips does not follow explicitly from the prior art, and, therefore, meets the patentability condition "inventive step".
An example implementation of the method.
According to the claimed method and prototype, at a hot rolling mill 2500 of OJSC "Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works", slabs of steel grade 50 were rolled into strips 2.5-5.5 mm thick for each of the options presented in the table.
The required temperature of the winding was provided by controlled cooling on the discharge roller table by a strip showering system. When winding the strips, the filling speed was set to 180-220 m / min for strips 5.5 mm thick and 410-430 m / min for strips 2.5 mm.
При отсутствии жесткой регламентации температуры конца прокатки и смотки в зависимости от конечной толщины полосы увеличивается как дисперсность перлита, так и объемная доля его, дисперсностью более 4-го балла (варианты 1-4).As follows from the data given in the table, in the production of hot-rolled strips according to the present method, an equal-sized microstructure with a volume fraction of perlite with a dispersion of less than 4 points of at least 95% is obtained. In the absence of strict regulation of the temperature of the end of rolling and winding, depending on the final strip thickness, both the dispersion of perlite and its volume fraction, dispersion of more than 4 points, increase (options 1-4).
Based on the foregoing, we can conclude that the claimed method is workable and eliminates the disadvantages that occur in the prototype.
The inventive method can be widely used for the production of hot rolled steel from medium-carbon steel grades with a regulated microstructure, which will contain finely dispersed perlite (dispersion of not more than 4 points), uniformly distributed over the volume of metal. This allows you to process hot rolled tackle from the specified grades of steel into cold rolled products with high efficiency. So, with the known methods of manufacturing at hot rolling mills a rolled product of medium-carbon steel grades intended for further processing into a cold-rolled strip, due to the lack of regulation of the temperature parameters of the end of rolling and winding, depending on the final thickness of the hot strips, it is not possible to provide a microstructure with uniformly distributed by volume perlite steel with a dispersion of not more than 4 points. This leads to the following.
For example, in the production of cold rolled steel strip 50 according to TU 14-4-1382-86 by the state of the material, granular perlite (ZP) provides for the production of 90% granular perlite in the microstructure of rolled products, which is achieved by light annealing in bell furnaces at a temperature of ≈700 ° С. This is possible only in the case of the presence of perlite with a fineness of no more than 4 points in the hot-rolled rolled product. The presence of perlite with a dispersion of 5-6 points leads to the appearance of marriage in the cold-rolled strip (discrepancy between the technical specifications of the amount of granular perlite), since in this case not all plate perlite is converted to granular perlite during processing. In addition, in the presence of medium-carbon steel in the structure, perlite with a dispersion of 7 points or more with a volume fraction of up to 30%, the hot rolled tackle is not capable of further processing with total reductions of more than 15-20% on cold rolling mills due to increased breakage. All this together leads to a decrease in the technical, economic and quality indicators of the workshops for the production of cold-rolled products from hot-rolled steel from these steel grades. These phenomena can be eliminated by forming perlite in the microstructure of steel with a dispersion of no more than 4 points at the hot rolling stage by tightly regulating the temperature parameters of rolling and winding depending on the final thickness of the hot rolled strip.
Therefore, the claimed method meets the condition of patentability "industrial applicability".
