Abstract
Description
The invention relates to binders for pavement and can be used in road and airfield construction, as well as in the construction of roofs, waterproofing and seams.
Known binder for road surfaces, obtained by mixing 85-98% wt. bitumen, 15-2 wt.% branched or linear styrene block copolymer at 200-250 ° C for 15-40 minutes (EP No. 0458386, CL 08 L 95/00, 1972). The binder has a sufficiently high strength, elasticity, however, its preparation requires the use of high temperatures and at the same time complete uniformity of the binder structure is not achieved.
С 08 L 95/00, 1995), содержащее битум, блок сополимеры алкадиена и стирола и индустриальное масло при следующем количественном соотношении, мас.%:Closest to the proposed invention is a cementitious pavement and a method for its production (patent of the Russian Federation No. 2038360, class C 08 L 95/00, 1995), containing bitumen, block copolymers of alkadiene and styrene and industrial oil in the following quantitative ratio, wt. .%:
Moreover, before introducing into the bitumen, the copolymer is mixed at 80-160 ° C with industrial oil, after which the resulting mixture is introduced with stirring at 110-160 ° C into bitumen.
The disadvantage of the invention is the low adhesion of the asphalt concrete mix binder to the surface of the mineral material. In addition, the process of obtaining a binder requires relatively high temperatures, which contributes to the release of harmful substances into the environment and intensifies the aging process of bitumen. In addition, an expensive commercial industrial oil is used as a solvent.
The objective of the invention is to improve the adhesion of the binder to the surface of the mineral material of the asphalt concrete mixture, reduce the temperature of brittleness, improve the elasticity and extensibility of the binder, reduce the temperature of the process of obtaining it while maintaining high values of the other physical and mechanical properties of the binder.
Задача решается разработкой вяжущего для дорожного покрытия, содержащего битум, каучук и растворитель-пластификатор, отличающийся тем, что в качестве каучука оно содержит низкомолекулярные полиолефины с молекулярной массой 500-5000, а в качестве растворителя-пластификатора - отход производства тримеров и тетрамеров пропилена, представляющий собой смесь изомеров олигомеров пропилена С15 при следующем содержании компонентов, мас.%:The problem is solved by the development of a binder for a road surface containing bitumen, rubber and a plasticizing solvent, characterized in that it contains low molecular weight polyolefins with a molecular weight of 500-5000 as rubber, and a waste from the production of trimers and tetramers of propylene, representing plasticizer, representing a mixture of isomers of propylene oligomers With 15 with the following content of components, wt.%:
22245-90.To prepare the binder, bitumen of BND grades is used according to GOST 22245-90.
15.The waste from the production of trimers and tetramers of propylene is a product of JSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, is produced according to TU 2411-020-05766801-94 and is a mixture of isomers of C 15 propylene oligomers.
Low molecular weight polyolefins with a molecular weight of 500-5000 were obtained by thermal decomposition of a high molecular weight polyolefin of rubber elastomer SKEPT - a copolymer of ethylene with propylene and diene. SKEPT was thermally degraded in a laboratory setup equipped with a device for loading and unloading rubber, maintaining vacuum and temperature under specified conditions. The conditions of the destruction process were changed depending on the required molecular weight of the obtained polyolefin: the temperature of destruction varied from 280 ° C to 380 ° C, the residual pressure from 5 to 30 mm Hg, contact time from 5 to 60 minutes. The resulting polyolefin samples were determined molecular weight.
We give an example of the preparation of a binder.
Example 1. 1 g of a low molecular weight polyolefin with a molecular weight of 5000 is introduced with stirring in 4 g of waste production of trimers and tetramers of propylene heated to 70 ° C. Then the prepared mixture is introduced into 95 g of bitumen with vigorous stirring and heating to 120 ° C.
Similarly prepared binders according to examples 2-7. The composition of the binders according to examples 1-7 are shown in table 1, and their characteristics are shown in table 2. As follows from table 2, the proposed binder exceeds the known binder in terms of adhesion to the surface of the mineral material, the temperature of brittleness and indicators characterizing the plasticity of the binder: elasticity and extensibility. At the same time, the proposed binder maintains high values of the remaining indicators, and the process of its preparation proceeds at lower temperatures (100 ° C versus 160 ° C for the known method), which significantly reduces the migration of harmful substances into the environment and slows the aging process of the binder.
