Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the production of polymer-bitumen compositions based on petroleum bitumen. The resulting polymer-bitumen compositions can be used in road construction as a binder for asphalt mixtures, in industrial and civil engineering for roofing, waterproofing, for the production of mastics and adhesives.
России 2307139 C1, C08L 95/00, C09D 195/00).A known method for producing a polymer-bitumen composition, comprising feeding oil bitumen into a reactor mixer, heating and introducing high pressure polyethylene, atactic polypropylene, foamed perlite flour into it with constant stirring, after which the mixture is heated to 210 ° C and asidol is introduced into the mixture. The result is a homogeneous composition (US Pat. 2307139 C1, C08L 95/00, C09D 195/00).
The disadvantage of this method is the high temperature of the composition, which leads to the loss of volatile substances of bitumen, the use of a large amount of inert material with high sorption ability, which reduces the stability of the resulting composition. The use of a mixture of polymers will lead to their separation, caused by a large difference in the melting temperature.
России 2241724 А, C08L 95/00, 53/02, C08K 5/17, C04B 26/26).A known method for producing a polymer-bitumen composition, comprising mixing a semi-coking product of coal and a block copolymer of butadiene with styrene, with stirring, the mixture is heated to 120 ° C, then petroleum bitumen is fed and, while continuing to mix, hexamethylenetetramine is added and the temperature is raised to 160 ° C, resulting in the formation polymer-bitumen composition (US Pat. 2241724 A, C08L 95/00, 53/02, C08K 5/17, C04B 26/26).
The disadvantage of this method is the use of a large amount of an additional solvent (a product of semi-coking coals), which reduces the flash point of the composition. The semi-coking product contains a large number of toxic compounds that evaporate when using and receiving the composition.
The closest to the proposed invention a method for producing a polymer-bitumen composition is the method presented in patent 2185402 C2, C08L 95/00, C08F 240/00, 8/34, 8/50 (Russia). Petroleum bitumen, polymer modifier, selective purification extract of residual oil fractions are mixed. The polymer modifier is preliminarily obtained by thermal copolymerization at a temperature of 240-260 ° C for 5-10 hours of the C 8 -C 9 fraction and butadiene rubber.
The disadvantage of this method is the high temperature and the duration of obtaining as a direct polymer-bitumen composition, and the polymer modifier. The high cost of the additives used and directly butadiene rubber make the final composition unsuitable for industrial use.
The objective of the invention is to expand the range of polymer-bitumen compositions with improved performance while simplifying the technology of preparation of the composition by reducing the number of stages and reducing the duration of the process, making it possible to conduct the process of preparing compositions in a continuous mode and the absence of expensive ingredients in their preparation.
Поставленная задача достигается тем, что предлагается способ получения полимерно-битумной композиции путем нагревания при перемешивании битума и полимер-модификатора, при этом полимер-модификатор получают непосредственно в среде битума путем радикальной полимеризации виниловых мономеров при температуре 60-80°C в присутствии инициаторов радикальной полимеризации, процесс получения полимерно-битумной композиции ведут в течение 2-4 часов при этой же температуре, при этом в качестве битума используют нефтяной битум, при следующем соотношение компонентов в композиции, мас.%:This object is achieved in that a method for producing a polymer-bitumen composition by heating with stirring bitumen and a polymer modifier is proposed, the polymer modifier being obtained directly in the medium of bitumen by radical polymerization of vinyl monomers at a temperature of 60-80 ° C in the presence of radical polymerization initiators , the process of obtaining a polymer-bitumen composition is carried out for 2-4 hours at the same temperature, while oil bitumen is used as bitumen, in the following ratio of components in the composition, wt.%:
To do this, at a temperature of 60-80 ° C, oil bitumen (98-90%) is placed in the reactor-mixer, after which a monomer solution with an initiator (2-10%) is placed therein with constant stirring, and 0.5 benzoyl peroxide -4 wt.% By weight of the monomer (any other organic peroxides with the same amount can also be used), then at a temperature of 60-80 ° C (when using other initiators, the temperature is selected for the initiator), the polymerization process is carried out for 2-4 hours, until the polymerization of the monomer. The resulting ready-to-use homogeneous composition is poured into containers for transportation.
Under these conditions, a homogeneous polymer-bitumen composition is formed, while the polymer is evenly distributed throughout the volume of the composition, which prevents the composition from delaminating when used. The final product differs from the original bitumen in improved characteristics, namely a lower brittle temperature, increased softening temperature, greater elasticity, which is typical for polymer-bitumen compositions. To prepare the composition, oil bitumen is used: road bitumen BND 60/90 or 90/130 grade in accordance with GOST 22245-90, construction bitumen oil grade BN 90/30 in accordance with GOST 6617-76, roofing oil bitumen grade BNK 45/190 in accordance with GOST 9548 -74. The concentration range of the monomer content in the composition is due to the variation in the operational characteristics of the final product.
2.The invention is illustrated by the examples presented in tables 1 and 2.
Table 1 shows the compositions of the initial mixture, temperature conditions and the duration of the preparation of the composite, and table 2 shows the physicomechanical properties of the resulting composites.
Example 1. In a 2-liter metal reactor equipped with a heated jacket and a mechanical paddle mixer, and a sealed lid, 950 g of BND 90/130 grade oil bitumen (bitumen temperature is 60 ° C) are placed, with a mixture of 50 g of styrene being mixed into the reactor and 2.0 g of benzoyl peroxide. The reactor is tightly closed and the contents are constantly mixed, while a constant temperature of 60 ° C is maintained inside the mixture. After 3 hours, the resulting homogeneous polymer-bitumen composition is discharged from the reactor.
The method according to the invention is simple to perform, allows you to get a wide range of polymer-bitumen composition, due to the possibility of mixing a large number of monomers with oil bitumen, the number of monomers compatible with bitumen significantly exceeds the range of polymers compatible with oil bitumen, while the resulting compositions are superior in their characteristics of the original oil bitumen. The softening temperature rises by 3-10 ° C, the fragility temperature decreases by 5-10 ° C. Adhesion to marble chips and sand increases significantly. A short duration and low temperature can reduce energy costs for the production of polymer-bitumen compositions in comparison with known methods. The present invention is one of the effective approaches to obtaining polymer-bitumen compositions.
