Abstract

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has passage cage, frame, side walls, and discharge mechanism. Side walls are formed as baffles, each plank of said baffles being positioned independently on frame by means of pivot joints at an angle below 90 deg in direction of movement of sheep. Each plank is equipped with flexible member allowing plank to be returned to initial position after passage of sheep through apparatus. Discharge mechanism has two planks pivotally positioned on frame and arranged at an angle of at least 90 deg to direction of movement of sheep within apparatus.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and reduced labor intensity for sheep retention.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to sheep husbandry, and can be used in devices for fixing sheep.

State of the art

A device for fixing animals is known, including a sheep movement limiter mounted on the walls of the machine with spring-loaded clamps, while the animal movement limiter is made in the form of a horizontally located ellipsoid frame with a vertical U-shaped neck grip installed in its front part.

In the device, the frame is mounted on brackets with the possibility of adjusting its installation in height, moreover, one of the brackets is rigidly connected to the frame, the other is hinged, and restrictive stops are installed on the machine walls (see AS USSR No. 10555449, class A 01 K 15 / 00).

The disadvantage of this device is the low reliability of fixation.

A device for fixing sheep, including a linkage mechanism for driving elements of a device with a fixed size of parts of its nodes, consisting of steel pipes. (Industrial sheep breeding, under the editorship of Zarytovsky B.C., M., Kolos, 1980, p.213).

The disadvantage of this device is the low reliability of fixation, high labor costs when fixing sheep.

The closest in technical essence, the achieved positive effect and adopted by the authors for the prototype is a passage cage for fixing and moving sheep, including a frame, front front and rear side walls, which is equipped with vertical guides to move the frame with animals, and the end and rear side walls are rigidly mounted on the frame, and the front side wall is fixed on the cage. In the passage cage, the end walls have an animal neck retainer (see AS USSR No. 1366132, class A 01 K 13/00).

The disadvantage of this passage cell is:

- low reliability;

- the need for additional labor costs for fixing each sheep, depending on its gender and age group;

- multioperational process of fixing the sheep.

Disclosure of invention

The technical result that can be achieved using the present invention is to increase the reliability of the device and reduce labor costs when fixing sheep. The technical result is achieved using a device for fixing sheep, including a passage cage, frame, side walls and an exhaust mechanism, while the side walls are made in the form of blinds, the strips of which are located at an angle of less than 90 ° to the direction of movement of the sheep in the device, each of which mounted on the device’s frame independently by means of hinges and provided with an elastic element configured to automatically return the strap to its original position after the sheep has passed through the device, and the exhaust bellows edited configured as two bars pivotally mounted on the frame and disposed at an angle greater than 90 ° to the direction of movement of the sheep in the device.

The implementation of the invention

The device for fixing the sheep is a passage cage and includes a frame 1, side walls 2, an exhaust mechanism 3. The side walls 2 are made in the form of blinds, each plank 4 of which is installed independently on the frame 1 using hinges 5 at an angle less than 90 ° to the direction of movement sheep in the device and is equipped with an elastic element 6, allowing the strap 4 to automatically return to its original position after the passage of the sheep through the device. This design of the side walls provides constant tight contact of each strap with the body of the sheep, regardless of the size of the animal. The exhaust mechanism 3 is made in the form of two strips 7, pivotally mounted on the frame 1 and located at an angle of more than 90 °, to the direction of movement of the sheep in the device. The exhaust mechanism is controlled by a system of levers 8, which ensures the release of the sheep to exit it from the device.

A device for fixing sheep works as follows.

The sheep, falling from the split into the device, moves inside it until it stops in the strips 7 of the exhaust mechanism 3. The strips 4 of the side walls 2 of the device provide the sheep to move “only forward” until it stops in the strips 7 of the exhaust mechanism 3. In connection with the mutually opposite direction of the strips 4 of the side walls 2 and strips 7 of the produced mechanism 3, the sheep self-fixes, which will be stronger, the greater the involuntary movement of the sheep in the device. After carrying out the necessary zoo vetting, the sheep is released from the device by manually opening the strips 7 of the exhaust mechanism 3 through a system of levers 8. When the parts of the exhaust mechanism 3 are returned to their original position, the cycle of fixing the next sheep is repeated.

The advantage of the proposed device compared to existing technical solutions is to reduce labor costs by reducing the number of operations due to the self-fixation of the sheep in the device.
