Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine and is intended for the treatment of quasalgia.
There is a method of treating causalgia (Khodos HG Nervous diseases: a Guide for doctors. - 3rd ed., Rev. And add. - T .: Medicine, 1981, s. 298-299), which consists in the fact that neurolysis, neurotomy and neurectomy are used as stages of the surgical treatment of this disease.
The disadvantages of this method are primarily: high invasiveness and invasiveness. In addition, the methodology of this type of treatment is quite complicated in itself and requires special equipment, experience and qualifications of the operating doctor. This in turn explains the high costs associated with this method of treatment.
There is a method of treating causalgia (Big Medical Encyclopedia - Volume 10 - Kabanov - Coalition. / Edited by Petrovsky BV - M .: Soviet Encyclopedia, 1979, p. 220-221), taken as a prototype, the essence of which is to use analgesics, sedatives, physiotherapy and psychotherapy.
The disadvantages of this method are: the need for availability or accessibility of the corresponding groups of drugs, their high cost, existing contraindications to their use and the possibility of a side effect. The need for a specialized psychotherapeutic service.
The objective of the claimed invention is to increase the effectiveness of the treatment and rehabilitation of patients suffering from causalgia.
0.1-0.15%.The problem is achieved in that according to the method of treating causalgia after amputation of the lower extremities, including the use of physiotherapeutic procedures, a solution of hydrogen peroxide with a concentration of 0.1-0.15% is administered intra-arterially.
The advantages of this method are the simplicity of the technique, low invasiveness and invasiveness (compared with surgical treatment), efficiency, accessibility, low cost, the absence of the need for special specific skills of the doctor and his qualifications. In addition, the absence of contraindications and hypoallergenicity.
The method is as follows. For intra-arterial administration, a solution of hydrogen peroxide in a concentration of 0.1-0.15% is used, obtained by diluting 8 and 10 ml, respectively, of a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide in physiological saline solution. Puncture of the femoral artery is performed according to standard methods. After thoroughly treating the inguinal area with alcohol, the femoral artery is punctured with an intramuscular needle just below the inguinal ligament in a typical place. The rate of administration of the drug should not exceed 14-15 ml per minute. Up to 200.0 ml of solution can be administered simultaneously. The number of sessions ranges from 3 to 10. Sessions are held daily or every other day. With severe pain, a 2-fold administration per day is possible.
Patient L., 46 years old. Diagnosis: Phlegmon region of the right knee joint. Stump of both lower extremities at the level of the lower third of the leg. Causalgia. The patient underwent intraarterial administration of a 0.12% solution of hydrogen peroxide in a volume of 200.0 ml into the left and right femoral arteries daily for 5 days. We have achieved a complete relief of causal pain. It is observed for 6 months, the pain does not bother.
Patient G., 56 years old. Diagnosis: Phlegmon of the left foot against osteomyelitis of the plus bones. Diabetes mellitus type II, II severity. The patient after amputation about the underlying disease of the left lower limb at the level of the lower third of the leg showed severe causal pain. An intra-arterial administration of a 0.12% hydrogen peroxide solution in a volume of 200.0 ml was performed into the left femoral artery daily for 10 days. A pronounced analgesic effect was achieved. The patient was discharged, observed within 1.5 months, the pain syndrome does not bother.
