Abstract
Description
The invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, to methods of treating infectious ulcers and keratitis.
A known method of treating ulcerative keratitis, comprising coating the affected area with a drug (RF patent No. 2049450, A 61 F 9/00, 1993).
However, the known method in the treatment of infectious ulcers and keratitis does not allow to completely eliminate the recurrence of the purulent process, does not completely eliminate the evisceration of the affected eye and does not provide high healing of corneal ulcers. However, it is not possible to eliminate clouding of the cornea and to achieve increased visual acuity.
An object of the invention is to remedy these shortcomings and create a method for the treatment of infectious ulcers and keratitis, which allows for its use to ensure high healing of infectious ulcers and keratitis, to exclude the recurrence of a purulent process and completely eliminate the evisceration of the affected eye.
(NaOCl).The problem is solved in that a method for the treatment of infectious ulcers and keratitis is proposed, including applying a drug to a pathological focus, a distinctive feature of which is that as a drug use an unstable emulsion based on sea buckthorn or olive oil containing 60-65 wt.% an electrolysis aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), which is applied to the pathological focus in the amount of 1-2 drops 1-2 times a day for 3-10 days until the defect is healed. Moreover, in an unstable emulsion, an electrolysis aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite with a concentration of 45-80 mg / L is used. Moreover, in an unstable emulsion, an electrolytic aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite is used in its buffered solution at the rate of 0.35-0.45 g (NaH 2 PO 4 ) per 100 ml of sodium hypochlorite solution (NaOCl).
Experimental studies of the proposed method for the treatment of infectious ulcers and keratitis in the clinical setting showed that using all the distinguishing features of the proposed technical solution, high healing of the infectious ulcers and keratitis was ensured, the treatment of patients achieved the elimination of the recurrence of the purulent process and completely eliminated the evisceration of the affected eye. At the same time, it was found that the electrolytic solution of sodium hypochlorite used by us has powerful antimicrobial, detoxifying and immunomodulating properties and does not cause allergic reactions. The electrolysis solution of sodium hypochlorite in combination with sea buckthorn or olive oil is effective both against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria - pathogens of purulent-inflammatory diseases, a number of viruses, fungi and protozoa. It is a broad spectrum antiseptic that allows you to use it without identifying microflora.
The implementation of the proposed method for the treatment of infectious ulcers and keratitis is illustrated by the following clinical examples.
