Description

 The claimed technical solution relates to mining and is aimed at improving the safety of work on the gas factor by reducing the gas content of the preparatory workings conducted on high-gas strata mainly by combines.
 There is a method of degassing by barrier wells when conducting preparatory workings on gas-bearing strata, consisting in the fact that niches are cut in the sides of the preparatory workings and holes are drilled out of them along the stratum of the mine, which are then connected to the degassing system ("Guide to the degassing of coal mines" , M., 1990, p. 9).
 The disadvantage of this method of degassing is low efficiency, due to the fact that at a high rate of penetration of the mine, the array of the gas-bearing formation ahead of the bottom of the mine is practically not degassed.
 The closest in technical essence to the claimed solution is a method of degassing during sinking of mine workings according to the copyright certificate N 607050, class. E 21 E 5/00, published in BI N 18, 1978, which consists in the fact that bottomhole and barrier wells are drilled from a passable mine in an array of a gas-bearing formation, through the first they create cracks in the formation, for example, by hydraulic separation, their mouths are isolated, and the barrier wells are connected to a gas suction system; first, barrier wells are drilled and connected to a degassing system, bottom-hole wells are located at the production circuit, and the surface of the formation exposed by the working out is shotcrete with gas impermeable material.
The disadvantages of this method:
Technological work on excavation and degassing is carried out in a limited space and cannot be combined, which reduces the pace of workings; Such works include:
- carrying out niches,
- sealing downhole wells,
- shotcrete exposed by the formation surface formation;
low safety of work on the gas factor due to the lack of removal of the gas-air mixture from the zone of the combine operation to the degassing system, which creates a danger of ignition of the gas-air mixture at the executive body of the combine.
 The tasks to be solved by the claimed invention is directed, are to increase the degassing efficiency of high-gas strata and the safety of work during the excavation of mine workings.
 The solution to these problems is achieved by the fact that according to the method of degassing high-gas strata during mining, including drilling downhole and barrier wells and connecting them to the gas suction system, first the advanced workings are carried out, then barrier and bottomhole wells are drilled towards the passable workings and connected to gas suction system from the side of advanced workings, moreover, barrier wells are drilled to the drainage area of the coal mass, and bottomhole wells are drilled into the face of passable holes current.
 The essence of the claimed invention is illustrated by drawings, where in FIG. 1 shows a degassing scheme during mining in a high-gas reservoir. In FIG. 2 shows a section along I-I of FIG. 1.
 The degassing of the high-gas-bearing stratum according to the claimed invention is carried out after the face of the passable mine 2 is moved from the active mine 1 to the natural degassing zone of the active mine 3. From the forward mine 4, in which the gas-suction system 5 is mounted, the downhole is parallel to the axis of the mine and pass through it 6 and barrier 7 wells. The diameter of the wells, their length and number are taken in accordance with applicable regulations. From the front of the production 4 mouths are sealed, connected to the gas suction system and gas is extracted from the coal mass from the front of the mine. Further, mine 2 is driven under the protection of downhole and barrier wells, which ensures a reduction in the percentage of gas to the maximum permissible concentrations.
The main advantages of the claimed invention are as follows:
- technological operations for the degassing of the array are carried out in the advanced mine, which allows you to combine them with the sinking of the mine, this increases the efficiency of degassing the array;
- gas is sucked from the surface of the face and from the beaten coal through the bottomhole wells from the side of advanced workings, which eliminates local accumulations of gas in the face and ignites it during operation of the executive body of the combine;
- there is no need to periodically remove niches in the sides of the mine for drilling barrier wells, to tear apart the coal mass between the bottomhole and barrier wells and to spray the surfaces exposed by the mine.

Claims (1)

  1.  A method of degassing high-gas strata during mining, including drilling bottomhole and barrier wells, connecting them to a gas suction system, characterized in that they first conduct advanced workings, then barrier and bottomhole wells are drilled to pass passages and connect them to the gas suction system from the side advanced workings, moreover, barrier wells are drilled to the drainage zone of a coal mass, and bottom-hole wells are drilled into the face of ongoing workings.
