Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for washing white caustic sludge in order to utilize the entire volume of a slurry of activated sludge biomass and sediment of primary settlers and can be used in the pulp and paper and chemical industries.
A known method of preparing an alkaline cooking solution to obtain a cellulose-containing fibrous semi-finished product, which consists in dissolving melt to produce green liquor, causticizing green liquor to obtain strong white liquor and calcium carbonate precipitate - white mud, separating white mud from liquor, washing white mud from hot alkali residues water with polyacrylamide and feeding as a result of washing weak white liquor to dissolve the melt.
N 1043215. The obtained strong white liquor is clarified by settling (1). There is also known a method of washing white caustic sludge with biologically treated wastewater with a concentration of excess activated sludge of 3-12 g / l in order to improve the quality of the cooking solution and increase the efficiency of the process (2). This method is a closer analogue (prototype) according to the copyright certificate of the Russian Federation N 1043215.
The main disadvantages: these methods do not solve the problem of the secondary use of water and disposal of the entire volume of the formed sludge and / or sludge of the primary settling tanks of the treatment facilities of the enterprise.
The objective of the invention is to provide a method for washing the sludge not with fresh water or dirty condensates, but with an equivalent amount of an aqueous suspension of sludge from biological and industrial wastewater treatment plants or their mixture with excess activated sludge.
(3). This technical result is achieved in that 95-97 wt.% Of these suspensions is biologically purified water, capable of washing alkalis well from sludge. The process is based on the ability of biomass (sludge protein and organic compounds included in an aqueous suspension) to hydrolyze in aqueous solutions in the presence of alkalis and release bound water (3).
The totality of existing signs is that the caustic sludge is washed from alkalis with an equivalent amount of an aqueous suspension of sludge from sewage treatment plants of industrial and / or municipal wastewater, or with their mixture with excess activated sludge. The washing is carried out with a suspension of sludge from treatment facilities of industrial and / or municipal wastewater, or with their mixture with excess activated sludge with a concentration of 1.3% or more. An aqueous suspension of sludge with sediment can be in any ratio.
The process of flushing causticizing sludge with a suspension of sludge from industrial and / or city sewage treatment plants or with a mixture of excess activated sludge used in place of fresh water is accompanied by complete alkaline hydrolysis of the sludge biomass, while the rate of deposition of white sludge increases significantly, which eliminates the need to introduce polyacrylamide or other additives to achieve a similar result. A schematic diagram of the washing of white caustic sludge is shown in the drawing. The reaction mixture 1 is fed to clarifier 2, where the reaction mixture is gravitationally separated into clarified strong white liquor 4 and white caustic sludge. The compacted caustic sludge with a density of 1 m 3 is pumped by pump 3 to the mixer, where it is mixed with hot water 6 at a temperature of 60 o C and pump 9 is pumped to the caustic sludge washer 10, where the sludge is washed with hot water from alkali and gravitational separation of the sludge from weak white liquor occurs. The clarified weak white liquor 12 is sent to dissolve the melt, and the washed sludge with a density of 1.4 t / m 3 is pumped through the pipeline 11 to the lime recovery department via a pump 11. When washing the sludge, a suspension of a mixture of industrial and / or municipal wastewater with excess activated sludge 7 and a sludge concentration of 1.3% or more is heated to 60 ° C and fed to the mixer 5 instead of the equivalent amount of hot water 6. Under the action of alkali in the sludge, the sludge biomass is hydrolyzed to 80-90% and the products of bioil hydrolysis go with a weak white liquor 12 to dissolve the melt. The non-hydrolyzed part of the sludge biomass (10-20%) with the sludge goes to the regeneration department, where it is burned in the lime regeneration furnace when the caustic sludge is fired. When washing caustic sludge with a heated sediment suspension of 8 primary sludges from industrial and / or municipal wastewater treatment plants or with a mixture of excess activated sludge, the latter is supplied in equivalent amount of hot water to mixer 5 and then mixed with pump 9 to washer-clarifier 10. In clarifier sludge and sediment slurry gravitational way compacted to a density of 1.3 t / m 3 and a pump 11 through conduit 13 is pumped to izvestegeneratsionny separated and further after domyvki in izvesteregene Discount furnace where precipitate is combusted upon firing the slurry.
Example N 1. One liter of a suspension of white sludge taken from the washing system of the causticization site γ = 1.30, defend until the sediment is completely precipitated. The filtrate is removed and the precipitate (white sludge) is washed from alkalis at a temperature of 70 o C with an equivalent amount of an aqueous suspension of a precipitate mixture of primary settlers of industrial and urban wastewater treatment plants with excess activated sludge with a concentration of 13 g / l. Washing of white sludge containing 100 g / l of alkali is accompanied by complete alkaline hydrolysis of activated sludge biomass. After washing the white sludge and settling it, a weak white liquor (that is, the filtrate from the washing sludge contains 15 g / l alkali, in units of Na 2 O) is fed to dissolve the melt to obtain green liquor. The concentration of alkali in the white sludge after washing drops to 10 g / l, in units Na 2 O, that is, the sludge is well washed with this suspension of a mixture of sludge with sediment.
Example N 2. Everything, as in example N 1, except that a mixture of an aqueous suspension with a concentration of activated sludge of 30 g / l was taken (that is, the maximum that can be obtained by direct precipitation without a coagulant), we wash the white sludge, as in example N 1. The resulting washed white sludge has an alkali concentration of 10 g / l, in units. Na 2 O, that is, the same value as in example N 1. Thus, washing the white sludge with an aqueous suspension of a mixture of sludge with activated sludge concentration from a minimum of 1.3 g / l to a maximum of 30 g / l or more gives the same alkali washing results, as well as washing with just hot water.
Example N 3. One liter of a suspension of white sludge taken from the washing system of the causticization site γ = 1.30, defend until the sediment is completely precipitated. The filtrate is removed and the sludge (white sludge) is washed from alkalis at a temperature of 70 o C with an equivalent amount of an aqueous suspension of sludge from the primary settlers of industrial and urban wastewater treatment plants without excess activated sludge. After washing, as in example 1, the concentration of alkalis in the white sludge is 9.5 g / l, in units Na 2 O, that is, the sludge is well washed with this suspension.
The weak liquors obtained from washing caustic sludge with an aqueous suspension of sludge from sewage treatment plants of industrial and / or municipal wastewater or with their mixture with excess activated sludge do not differ in quality indicators from weak white liquor during traditional washing of sludge with hot water.
Thus, an aqueous suspension of sludge with sediment can be taken in any ratio when washing the white sludge of sulphate-cellulose production. The total volume of the suspension of excess sludge and sludge is less than the required amount of hot water for washing the sludge, therefore, when using the present invention, 100% utilization of the suspension of sludge and sludge from the treatment facilities of the enterprise is possible. With the implementation of this invention, there is no need for dewatering and burning of sludge and sludge and sedimentation tanks are not required - ecological "bombs" of delayed action. No chemicals are required, nor equipment for the treatment of sludge from the treatment plants of the enterprise.
Using the proposed invention brings the company closer to closed water circulation.
