Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of water purification, and in particular to the field of non-reagent water treatment, and can be used when supplying drinking water to consumers located in places of temporary residence or not requiring significant water consumption, in particular, objects of small town planning, and the invention can also be used in extreme conditions, in particular with a sudden disconnection of the consumer from the water supply network.
Reagent-free water treatment is widely known in various fields of technology. The use of electric fields for the separation of various ions, as well as the destruction of pathogenic bacteria, is widely used in various branches of technology, as well as in medicine. However, the known methods and devices do not allow the elimination of organic pollution, in addition, they are energy-intensive and require the use of high voltage, which prevents their widespread use.
Water purification by means of its ozonation is also known. However, this method also did not find wide distribution in connection with the destructive effect of ozone on equipment materials, as well as consortia of microorganisms that allow biological treatment of water.
The combination of non-reagent water purification using ozonation is quite promising, since its implementation does not require the use of any reagents, and the ozone not used in the process of water purification spontaneously decomposes without polluting the environment.
Known, in particular, a modular installation for water purification (RU, patent 2096342, C 02 F 1/78, 1997), containing a pre-treatment module, an ozonation module made in the form of sequentially installed first and second ozonation columns, an electrocoagulation module connected between ozonation columns, a finishing module containing a fine filtration unit and a UV reactor, and a power module. Modular installation allows you to easily transport it if necessary, which makes the installation convenient for deployment in temporary settlements. When using the installation, the source water is pre-treated using a pre-treatment module, usually containing a hydrocyclone and / or a coarse filter. The pre-treated water is ozonated in two stages, between which the water is treated by electrocoagulation, after the second ozonation stage, salts are removed from the water, followed by final cleaning and UV disinfection. Although the result is water that meets the qualification of “drinking,” the process cannot be considered optimal, since water purification by microorganisms is almost completely excluded, leading to an improvement in the quality of the water obtained. The use of two stages of ozonation without limiting the amount of ozone generated and without taking into account the composition and amount of pollution leads to an increase in the ozone content in the cleaned medium after the ozonation columns and, accordingly, to the death of microorganisms in the equipment, including a fine filter. Although the description text and the dependent claims indicate the boundaries of the used concentrations of ozone in both ozonation columns, as well as the operation of destroying unreacted ozone after the second stage of ozonation, as well as the participation of microorganisms in the process of water purification, still in operation it was found that with a small amount of pollution, and the resulting low ozone consumption, microorganisms in the equipment modules die almost completely and do not participate in water treatment. In addition, there is a significant effect of ozone on the equipment, which reduces the time of continuous operation of the equipment and, therefore, the cost of the treated water.
The technical problem solved by the present invention is to develop a reagentless method of water purification, which allows to improve the quality of the resulting water.
The technical result obtained as a result of the implementation of the invention is to reduce the cost of water treatment with increasing its quality.
To achieve the specified technical result, it was proposed to preliminarily evaluate the content of ozone-degradable impurities in the treated water, then to take the purified water into the pre-treatment module, to pre-purify the water with the removal of coarse impurities and suspended particles from the water, the first stage of ozonation, electrocoagulation with the removal of organic impurities, the second stage of ozonation, desalination of water, fine filtering of water and UV sterilization of purified water, and in the first and second For ozonation, the amount of ozone supplied to the treated water should be no more than 7% higher than the amount of ozone required for the purification process, and at the stage of final water purification, a consortium of microorganisms containing microorganisms inherent in the area and placed in the final purification module should be used. After the electrocoagulation step, water can be further purified by filtration. For this purpose, it is desirable to use a filter with a floating charge, on which a consortium of microorganisms containing microorganisms characteristic of the water withdrawal point can be placed. Positive buoyancy substances, in particular silica gel and / or activated carbon, can be used as a floating charge. After the second stage of ozonation, water can be collected in a storage tank. In the pre-treatment step, water is preferably passed through a hydrocyclone and / or coarse filter. It is preferable to use a set of metal grids as a coarse filter, to which voltage can be applied, creating an electric field that repels pollution elements. The intake of water for treatment, as well as the movement of water through the treatment system is preferably carried out by means of pumps. As fine filters, it is preferable to use a set of micromodules of hollow fibers, on the inner surface of which a consortium of microorganisms is located. The ozonation columns and the associated ozone generators are configured to control the supply of ozone to the columns. Regulation can be performed both by using partial removal of the generated ozone into the atmosphere, and by controlling the process of generating electrical parameters. In addition, the floating loading filtration module is configured to mix, preferably turbulent, purified water along with the floating load. The electrocoagulation module contains electrodes made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, connected with the possibility of changing the polarity of the electrodes.
In the process of purification, water enters the preliminary purification stage, at which coarse-dispersed impurities and suspended particles are separated over 5 microns in size. Then, during the first ozonation, the destruction of microalgae, partial oxidation of organic contaminants and oxidation of metal ions of variable valency to higher oxidation states occurs. Ozonated water enters the stage of electrocoagulation, where electrocoagulation of organic impurities occurs. The use of aluminum electrodes leads to a more complete water purification. When using filtering with a floating charge, coagulated organic impurities are separated, and an additional purification of water is carried out by a consortium of microorganisms. The use of mixing increases the contact of the treated water with a floating charge and the colonies of microorganisms located on it. At the second stage of ozonation, oxidation of organic impurities and the almost complete destruction of pathogens occur. At the subsequent stage of desalination, hardness salts and iron salts are removed. Fine filtering removes all contaminants that have gone into an insoluble state at the previous stages, and also additionally purifies water from residual inorganic and organic impurities through a consortium of microorganisms. Finishing UV - sterilization cleans water from microorganisms that are members of the consortium.

The implementation of the invention is as follows.
Preliminarily determine the content of impurities removed using ozone in the water to be treated. Based on the measurements, the necessary ozone concentration is determined, which should be generated in the first and second ozonation columns.
The purified water from the source (open pond or artesian well) is pumped into a hydrocyclone 2 through a pump 1, where suspended particles, the size of which exceeds 5 microns, and coarse impurities are separated. After hydrocyclone 2, water enters the coarse filter 3, where insoluble impurities are separated and, in the case of using metal grids and applying electric potential to them, partial removal of metal ions. Into a similarly purified water in the column 4 of the first ozonation, ozone is introduced with a concentration of about 0.001 kg / m 3 determined in the first step. The destruction of pathogens, the destruction of microalgae, the oxidation of metal ions to higher oxidation states and the partial oxidation of organic compounds present in water. Water containing residual amounts of ozone from the ozonation column 4 enters the electrocoagulation module 6, in which coagulation of colloidal organic compounds occurs. The presence of residual amounts of ozone enhances the coagulation process. When moving the purified water from column 4 to module 7, spontaneous decomposition of ozone occurs, and the water entering module 7 practically does not contain ozone. This leads to the appearance of a consortium of microorganisms on a floating load, which is used activated carbon. The consortium can be artificially brought to a floating load or can be allocated during the installation. Floating loading almost completely delays coagulated organic compounds. In the second ozonation column 8, ozone with a concentration of 0.0013 kg / m 3 , which was determined in the first stage, is introduced into the water to be purified, while the organic impurities are oxidized and the microorganisms and microorganisms of the consortium are completely destroyed and placed on a floating charge and with the flow of water received into the second ozonation column. If possible, the output of the column 8 controls the concentration of residual ozone. In that case, if the concentration is high enough and can cause the death of a consortium of microorganisms located in the finishing unit 19, then the ozone excess is decomposed using the ozone destructor 10. At the second stage of ozonation, the remaining organic pollutants are oxidized. Almost purified from organic contaminants, the water enters the desalination module 13. The desalination module almost completely removes hardness salts and compounds of the iron group. After the desalination module 13, water enters the final purification module 14, in which mechanically and under the influence of a consortium of microorganisms the final isolation of insoluble and soluble impurities takes place to a level corresponding to drinking water. The UV reactor located at the output of module 14 purifies the water from the microorganisms that make up the consortium.
Using the method allows the production of drinking water without high capital costs, with low cost and high quality.
