Abstract
Description
A known design of an artificial honeycomb for the removal of uterus is described by Karl Genter in the inventions DE N 3229181, DE 373929, issued in 1984 and 1989, respectively.
The operation of this cell is unstable due to a number of design flaws and improper use. It is impossible to get uterine milk with the help of Jenter's honeycomb, since after removing the uterus from the sotik, the larvae are not found in it.
The technical task is to create a stable biological system based on artificial honeycombs, uterus and young bees located in the same place of the hive, forming the center of the brood nest.
д. The solution to this problem comes from the fact that the device is based on the irreplaceable biological property of the bee family - the location of young bees in the area of the uterus. To do this, forcibly, by means of a fixed location of the uterus, we form the center of the brood nest in the street formed by artificial sotiks and attract young bees to this street, which rebuild the wax superstructure on the artificial sotik and raise larvae. The larva is obtained from the egg in three days, and four pairs of honeycombs are located in the device. Four days later, in the first sotik there will be larvae no older than 24 hours, which are removed and used for their intended purpose, and a vacant pair of sotiks is put in the vacated space and the uterus is placed on them. After one day, the next pair of sotiks is removed, the return pair is returned, moving the uterus to this pair, etc.
This device design is free from the disadvantages associated with the location of the sotik in the family, the method of preparing the sotik, the mode of removing the sotik or replacing them.
Thus, a stable biological system is obtained, including sotics, forming a street that is natural for the uterus and bees, on the left and right of the uterus are sotics with the same properties. The uterus is constantly in the same street, forming the center of the brood nest. Removing one pair of sotiks and replacing it with another pair with the movement of the uterus creates the condition for the continuous operation of the entire bee colony.
In FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of the mutual arrangement of artificial honeycombs.
In FIG. 2 shows the design of the mother frame, front view (a) and side view (b).
Artificial honeycombs 2 are located in the mother frame opposite each other. The inner space formed by this pair of honeycombs is isolated from the surrounding space by a dividing grid 3. The distance between the
At least four pairs of honeycombs are located in the plane of one honeycomb, and the distance between the separation bars of each pair and the distance between the planks of the frame and the separation grid is equal to the distance of the natural width between the cells, i.e. 8-10 mm.
The entire system of dividing gratings is connected to each other and to the frame slats motionlessly in such a way that the frame slats form “windows” into which artificial honeycombs are inserted, sliding in and out of the windows.
The number of pairs of cells can be different: from one pair to eight or more, it all depends on the area of artificial cells and their purpose.
The device works as follows: on both sides of the frame insert all artificial cells in pairs. Then one sotik is removed on one side, the uterus is placed on the surface of the opposite sotik, the window is closed with the sotik removed and placed in the bee colony from which the uterus was taken. After a certain time, which is set by the beekeeper and depends on a number of properties of the uterus and the tasks set, the frame is taken out with the bees in it, then the second window is opened, the neighboring honeycomb is taken out of the window, the first window is opened and the uterus is transplanted from the first pair of honeycombs to the second. Close the first window with the first sotik, the second with the second sotik. And so on, the uterus is moved at predetermined intervals to adjacent sotics. After the uterus has visited all the sotiks, they take out the first pair of them, and put the returning pair of sotiks in the vacant place and place the uterus on them. After a given time interval, the next pair is taken out according to the first sequence, and a return pair is placed in this place.
An indispensable condition for the stable operation of the device is the constant presence of the uterus in the above system, since this meets the biological requirements for the functioning of the brood nest.
The advantages of the above device over the known are as follows.
1. The system allows you to get hour-old larvae in a given quantity.
2. The system works stably for a long time, constantly and continuously providing a program with 100% yield of larvae on the bottoms of a sotik or receiving milk.
The uterus obtained using this device was excreted heavy (more than 280 mg), were equal in weight, perfectly accepted by bee families and in their productivity approached the maximum egg production characteristic of this breed of bees. Apiaries in whose families the uterus was replaced with those removed using this device had differences in productivity. Families gained strength very powerfully and evenly throughout the apiary.
