However, the known methods have several disadvantages: they do not always provide a sufficient duration of the therapeutic effect, require the use of expensive and complex equipment, surgical intervention. In many cases, long-term treatment, including tedious training according to existing methods.
The prototype adopted a method of treating nystagmus (see BI 1988, N 43, AC N 1438773), aimed at increasing visual acuity and improving the accommodation function of the eye. The method involves the impact of a physical factor on the symmetrical corporal acupuncture points of general and local action by the second inhibitory method. For this, the acupuncture needle is introduced for 20-30 minutes by slow rotational movements until a sensation of expansion, severity appears. For one session, 2 to 4 points are used. The number of sessions per course is 8 - 10. During the year, 2 - 3 treatment courses are carried out.
- непродолжительность и нестабильность лечебного эффекта;
- длительность процедур и сроков лечения;
- использование большого числа воздействий на точки аккупунктуры;
The disadvantages of the prototype include:
- the short duration and instability of the therapeutic effect;
- the duration of the procedures and the duration of treatment;
- the use of a large number of impacts on acupuncture points;
- the presence of unpleasant, painful sensations.
The aim of the invention is the restoration of visual acuity and the prevention of the progression of myopia. This goal is achieved by the effect of microdoses of a 20% glucosamine solution on the nerve endings of the spinous processes of the VI-VII vertebrae of the cervical spine.
The theoretical justification of the invention is the following: an accommodating apparatus for adjusting the ciliary muscle, which is provided by the nerve sympaticus located in the ciliospinal center of the Booth in the front horns of the spinal cord at the level of II-VII of the cervical and I-II thoracic vertebrae. Due to irritation of the nerve endings of the sympathetic nerve of the VI-VII spinous process of the cervical spine, the muscle tone of the ciliary muscle, which regulates the optical installation of the eye, is restored. In this way, the accommodative ability of the eye to connect the rays on the retina is restored by changing the optical setup into a clear image of the light rays coming from objects located at different distances from the eye.
Glucosamine hydrochloride has a chondroprotective, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, and also denies an immunomodulatory effect.
An essential distinguishing feature of the proposed method is the segmental effect on the nerve endings of the spinous processes of the VI-VII vertebrae of the cervical spine through the slow (15-20 sec) administration of small doses of 0.1-0.2 ml of a 20% glucosamine solution to a depth of 0, 2-0.3 mm in the spinous process of the VI or VII vertebra of the cervical spine. Spend 5-6 procedures.
The method is as follows. The patient is injected into the spinous process of the VI or VII vertebra of the cervical spine to a depth of 0.1-0.2 mm of a 20% glucosamine solution.
45 patients with myopia underwent osteoreflex treatment. The age distribution of patients was as follows: 7-12 years old - 23 people., 13-18 years old - 12 people., 19-20 years old - 10 people. In all patients, visual acuity and accommodation reserves were determined before and after treatment. When checking visual acuity in all patients, there was a decrease in visual acuity from 0.2 to 0.3 according to the Sivtsev table and a decrease in accommodation reserves, and in 80% of cases asthenopic complaints were noted. After 5-6 osteoreflexotherapy procedures in combination with a 20% glucosamine solution in all cases, visual acuity increased to 0.7-0.8 according to the Sivtsev table. Most patients have completely disappeared asthenopic complaints. Table 1 shows the dynamic changes in visual function before and after treatment.
