Abstract
Description
The invention is intended for welding structural steels and cast irons, as well as to obtain a wear-resistant surface during the restoration of steel and cast iron machine parts.
0,2.Known welding flux of high basicity (ed. St. USSR N 353804), containing the following components (wt.%): SiO 2 28.5 - 33; MnO 28.5 - 35; CaO 29 - 31; CaF 2 5 - 7. The composition of the flux can also be, wt.%: Al 2 O 3 up to 3.5; MgO up to 2; Fe 2 O 3 to 1.5, S to 0.2; P to 0.2.
The specified flux has increased hygroscopicity, and during welding and welding under it, a “bruised” weld is observed, since the flux is “short”.
0,2.Improving the technological properties of the flux, reducing hygroscopicity while maintaining the chemical composition of the weld metal is achieved by the fact that the composition of the flux is taken in the following ratio, wt.%: SiO 2 31 - 34; MnO 31 - 34; MgO 26-28; CaF 2 5 - 7. The composition of the flux can also be, wt.%: CaO up to 5; Al 2 O 3 to 3.5; Fe 2 O 3 to 1.5; S up to 0.2; P to 0.2.
Е.О. М. 1962, 313 - 315). To smelting such a flux in electric furnaces, we present the calculated composition of the charge (see Technology of electric fusion welding, under the editorship of E.O. Paton. M. - Kiev: GONTI, 1962, 313 - 315).
Manganese ore, wt.%: MnO 65; ZiO 2 12; CaO 2.5; Al 2 O 3 2; Fe 2 O 3 0.8; P-0.2; S 0.2. Calcined weight loss is the rest.
CaF2 92,5; SiO2 3,4; CaO 3; Al2O3 0,6.Fluorspar. wt.%: CaF 2 92.5; SiO 2 3.4; CaO 3; Al 2 O 3 0.6.
SiO2 97,5; Al2O3 1,5; CaO 0,5; Fe2O3 0,5.Sand, wt.%: SiO 2 97.5; Al 2 O 3 1.5; CaO 0.5; Fe 2 O 3 0.5.
10,1%.Caustic magnesite; wt. %: MgO 82; SiO 2 2.6; CaO 2.7; Al 2 O 3 2.1; Fe 2 O 3 0.5; weight loss on ignition 10.1%.
33. Per 100 kg of flux necessary, kg: manganese ore 47.9; fluorspar 5.7; sand 25.0; Caustic Magnesite 33.
The calculation is shown in the table.
100%. Flux contributes to increased stability of the welding arc, high-quality formation of the seam. The content of flux components does not exceed the allowed by the claims, therefore, the mixture is suitable for melting, the sum of the components is 100%.
