Abstract
Description
The invention relates to poultry, in particular to poultry breeding, and can be used to create lines and crosses with high feed utilization.
[1]. A known method of keeping birds during selection, including the assessment of parental lines for compatibility, selected as an analogue [1].
[2]. A known method of keeping young animals when breeding at feed costs per unit of gain in live weight, including pre-incubation selection of eggs, incubation, after incubation, content together in the first growing period, and then in individual cages until the end of growing, ensuring feeding conditions and keeping in accordance with the standards, including determining the weekly live weight and individual feed intake and according to the data obtained, the calculation of feed conversion, selected as a prototype [2].
The disadvantages of the methods [1, 2], selected as an analogue and prototype, is their low efficiency, since the group method of keeping and taking into account feed intake does not allow to divide the population into the best and worst individuals on this basis. The individual method of poultry keeping is laborious and does not allow to evaluate the entire population of the breeding group (at least 3-5 thousand heads in one batch). In addition, the intravital assessment of feed conversion at the embryo stage by selection of individuals with an egg mass loss of 7.5 to 10.8% does not provide hereditary condition for this trait and it is impossible to fix this genetic trait in subsequent generations, since it is difficult to separate the genotypic classes by loss egg mass, determined by their protein composition, which depends on both external and internal factors.
The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the method of keeping young animals during selection for feed conversion per unit of increase in live weight.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the method of keeping young animals during selection by feed costs per unit of gain in live weight, including pre-incubation selection of eggs, incubation, after incubation, the content together in the first growing period, and then in individual cages until the end of growing, ensuring feeding conditions and content in accordance with the norms, the definition of weekly live weight and individual feed intake, and according to the data obtained for calculating its conversion, in contrast to the prototype, young animals form groups and by producers (father and mother), they keep nests from 1 day old in individual sections and determine the dynamics of growth and development, and by the quality of young animals, the initial producers (fathers and mothers) of deteriorators or improvers of a given attribute are identified, signs are fixed in subsequent generations by individual selection in combination with family.
в возможности оценки молодняка по конверсии корма с заведомо известным происхождением как по селекционному гнезду (по отцу), так и по каждой матери;
позволяет оценить все поголовье селекционной птицы и оценки спариваемых особей по качеству потомства;
The advantage of the proposed method is as follows:
the possibility of assessing young animals by feed conversion with a known origin both by breeding nest (by father) and by each mother;
allows you to evaluate the entire population of breeding birds and assess mating individuals on the quality of the offspring;
in high reliability estimates of the dynamics of growth and development by feed conversion during the growing period.
The drawing shows a diagram of the content of young animals during selection.
The method of keeping young animals when breeding on the cost of feed per unit of increase in live weight is as follows.
Eggs are taken from the bird for incubation from the breeding core with the mark of the number of the father (breeding nest) and material. At the age of 24, young growth is ringed according to the technology generally accepted in breeding, and then it is planted for rearing and fattening in section 1 in cells 2 according to their origin (breeding nests).
The size of the section allows you to contain young animals with a density not exceeding generally accepted zootechnical standards. Within seven weeks, individual feed intake is taken into account. Identify from the producers (father and mother) deteriorators or improvers of a given trait in the quality of young animals. Fix signs in subsequent generations by individual selection
The positive effect of the method lies in the fact that it becomes possible to assess the conversion of feed in the dynamics of growth and development and consumption of feed throughout the growing period.
