Abstract

FIELD: medicine, gynecology. SUBSTANCE: method suggests means to treat chronic uterine adnexa inflammations as suppositories based upon lipophilic fraction of black currant fruit pulp or raspberry fruit pulp or muskmelon seeds or tomato seeds. It was significantly revealed the therapeutical action of tested suppositories in case of chronic salpingoophoritis. EFFECT: higher efficiency along combined therapy of inflammatory diseases of female genital organs.

Description

 The invention relates to medicine, in particular to means for the treatment of chronic inflammation of the uterine appendages (oophoritis, salpingitis).

 It is known that antibiotics are used for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the uterine appendages, namely, broad-spectrum antibiotics [1,2]. Antibiotics are prescribed in an individual dosage of a course of 10 days, depending on the nature and course of the disease, the effectiveness and tolerability of the drug.

 The disadvantages of antibiotic treatment are the need for long-term use of the drug with possible repeated courses, since premature discontinuation of the drug can lead to the resumption of the chronic process, up to the development of sactosalpinx, which is treated surgically [1]. In some cases, patients develop nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Allergic reactions are possible.

 A known tool for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the uterus [3] in the form of rectal suppositories weighing 1.4 g, prepared on the basis of ichthyol (0.2 g) and suppository base (1.2 g). Candles are administered daily in the morning and evening for a month.

 The disadvantage of this method is its low efficiency.

 The purpose of the invention is the reduction of treatment time and the expansion of the range of herbal medicines for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the uterus.

 The goal is achieved by using vaginal and rectal suppositories based on the lipophilic fraction of pulp of blackcurrant fruit or melon seeds, administered 2 times a day for 1 suppository vaginally and rectally for 10 days, or vaginal suppositories on the basis of the lipophilic fraction of pulp of pulp of raspberry fruit or tomato seeds introduced 2 times a day for 1 suppository vaginally for 10-12 days.

 Candles were prepared in accordance with the State Pharmacopoeia, XIth ed., Vol. P, p.151-153 "Suppositories by pouring a suppository mass consisting of a suppository base (supporin, cocoa butter, etc.) and a lipophilic fraction of blackcurrant pulp or raspberry pulp or melon seeds or tomato seeds. The lipophilic fraction is obtained by degreasing vegetable raw materials, crushed to a particle size, passing through a sieve with a hole diameter of 2 mm, Nefrax food gasoline in the ratio of raw material - extractant 1:10 for 6 hours, followed by distillation of the extragen The ratio of the base - lipophilic fraction 70-80: 30-20% by weight.  Examples of the preparation of suppositories.

 Example 1. To 21.0 molten cocoa butter add 9.0 g of the lipophilic fraction of pulp of blackcurrant fruit and mix with an anchor stirrer until smooth, after which the hot suppository base is poured into special nests and cooled. Get 10 suppositories weighing 3 g.

 Example 2. To 24.0 g of molten supporin M add 6.0 g of the lipophilic fraction of pulp of raspberry fruit and receive suppositories, as described in example 1.

 Suppositories were used as an element of complex therapy in 15 patients suffering from chronic inflammation of the uterus. The age of patients is from 25 to 32 years.

 The criteria for establishing a diagnosis and subsequent evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment were the data of objective examination, hematological, bacteriostatic studies, as well as subjective sensations of patients. The course of therapy in this group included antibacterial drugs, biogenic stimulants, prodigiosan, physiotherapy.

 Patients received 1 suppository containing blackcurrant oil or melon seed oil 2 times a day vaginally and rectally for 10 days or 1 suppository containing raspberry oil or tomato oil 2 times a day vaginally for 12 days. All patients tolerated the tested drugs well. In no case have any clinically or laboratory revealed any local or general adverse reactions or complications. At the same time, the therapeutic effect of the test candles with chronic salpingo-oophoritis was reliably identified, in particular, their anti-inflammatory effect. In the tested patients, a faster and more stable decrease in negative manifestations or a complete normalization of objective gynecological examination data, as well as stabilization of laboratory parameters, ultrasound and endoscopic tests, were noted.

 Examples of using the proposed tool.

 Example 1. Patient H., 24 years old. Diagnosis: chronic bilateral salpingo-oophoritis with severe pain. She received complex therapy, including prognozan, antibacterial drugs, biogenic stimulants, physiotherapeutic treatment. The patient is administered 1 suppository containing blackcurrant oil 2 times a day for 10 days. At the end of treatment, a clear positive trend was noted - a complete absence of pain, an improvement in objective treatment indicators.

 Example 2. Patient K., 30 years old. Diagnosis: chronic bilateral salpingoophoritis, left-sided hydrosalpinx. The disease lasts about 8 years. The clinical picture was dominated by complaints of periodic pain in the lower abdomen. An ultrasound revealed a left-sided hydrosalpinx. She received complex therapy, including prodigiosan, biogenic stimulants, physiotherapy, suppositories with melon oil, 1 suppository 2 times a day for 10 days. A control study showed a reduction in pain at the end of the course of treatment. Gynecological examination revealed a positive trend, ultrasound - removal of the hydrosalpinx.

 Example 3. Patient M., 23 years old. Diagnosis: chronic bilateral salpingo-oophoritis with severe pain. The disease developed after an abortion 2 years ago. She received complex therapy, including prodigiosan, antibacterial drugs, biogenic stimulants, physiotherapeutic treatment, an additional 1 candle was prescribed, containing a lipophilic fraction of raspberry pulp 2 times a day vaginally for 12 days. At the end of treatment, almost complete recovery was noted.

 Example 4. Patient O., 32 years old. Diagnosis: chronic bilateral salpingoophoritis, right-sided hydrosalpinx. The disease lasts more than 10 years after an abortion, constant seasonal relapse. She received complex therapy, including prodigiosan, antibiotics, biogenic stimulants, physiotherapy, and suppositories with a lipophilic fraction of tomato seeds were prescribed 1 suppository vaginally 2 times a day for 12 days. A control study showed a reduction in pain at the end of the course of treatment, data from a gynecological examination and ultrasound revealed a clear positive trend.

 Thus, suppositories containing a lipophilic fraction of pulp of blackcurrant fruit, pulp of raspberry fruit, melon seeds, tomato seeds, have a clear therapeutic effect in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs.

 As a result of the studies, it was found that suppositories containing a lipophilic fraction of black currant pulp, raspberry pulp, melon seeds, tomato seeds do not cause any local or adverse reactions or complications.

 These dosage forms are convenient for practical use and can be recommended for widespread use in gynecological practice.
