Abstract
Description
The invention relates to biology and can be used in agriculture for mass breeding of useful animals, mainly vermiculture.
A 01 K 67/00, C 05 F 7/00, 1980). A known method of preparing a substrate and breeding earthworms on it, including the use of large wood chips, on which tiny gaps are formed by extruding the resin in an alkaline solution. Sewage is sprayed onto the chips, which contains proteins and finely chopped pieces of fish. Cultivation of earthworms is performed on this substrate (see Japan Patent N 58-23046, class A 01 K 67/00, C 05 F 7/00, 1980).
The disadvantages of these methods include the need for additional ingredients in wastewater (proteins, finely chopped pieces of fish) and the inability to regulate the pH when preparing the substrate and breeding earthworms in it.
A 01 K 67/033, 1995). The closest solution adopted for the prototype are known methods of preparing the substrate and breeding vermiculture in it, including bringing the moisture content of the original substrate to 70-80%, maintaining the specified humidity in the substrate by periodically irrigating it with slurry or sewage. To maintain the pH, lime, chalk and other substances are added to the ripening substrate depending on the deviation of the pH of the substrate from the neutral value. After the maturation of the substrate, vermiculture is laid in it and the optimum humidity and pH value are maintained in the substrate by the above methods until the development cycle of the vermiculture is completed (see RU, patent N 2040174, class A 01 K 67/033, 1995).
The disadvantages of these methods include the need for additional substances to maintain the optimal pH in the substrate during its preparation and breeding of vermiculture in it, as well as the low efficiency of the cultivation of earthworms.
The essence of the invention lies in the fact that in the known method of preparing a substrate for breeding vermiculture, which includes wetting the substrate to the required humidity, bringing the pH of the substrate to the desired value and maintaining these conditions optimal to the appropriate stage of vermicomposting, according to the invention, the substrate is moistened to create and maintain these parameters electroactivated solutions with a controlled concentration of hydrogen ions, and depending on the reaction of the substrate environment the last one is treated or analyte electroactivated solution or catholyte.
The invention also consists in the fact that in the known method of diluting vermiculture, including laying the population in a substrate and maintaining optimal parameters in the substrate, according to the invention, the optimal parameters are maintained by wetting the substrate with vermiculture with an electroactivated solution, and the latter is moistened with only one of fractions of the electroactivated solution, and the substrate is moistened only with one of the fractions of the electroactivated solution in layers.
The use of electroactivated solution allows you to very finely control the processes in the preparation of the substrate and increase the efficiency of breeding vermiculture. The growth rate of living organisms largely depends on the rate of enzymatic reactions in the cells. The rate of intracellular enzymatic processes to a large extent depends on the pH of the medium, the redox potential, the solubility of organic and mineral substances, and other indicators. These basic properties of water when it is processed in an electric activator can be changed in the desired direction and up to the specified parameters.
A method of preparing a substrate for breeding vermiculture and a method for breeding vermiculture are as follows.
For the preparation of the substrate, various organic wastes, such as manure, plant residues, food waste, etc., are placed in burts. Measure the pH value in the starting material and, when the value deviates from the neutral one, an electro-activated solution with a concentration of hydrogen ions is prepared corresponding to the normalization of the acid-base balance of the starting material when wetted with an electro-activated solution. In this case, the moisture content of the starting material is adjusted to 70-80%. Since slight deviations of the pH from neutral strongly affect the growth and development of microflora, when the substrate ripens, the pH value in it is periodically checked and, if necessary, the substrate is moistened again with an analyte or catholyte of the electroactivated solution to bring the substrate medium to the optimum pH value. These operations are repeated until the substrate is fully ripe.
Ripe compost is used as a base substrate for breeding vermiculture. After laying the uterine population of earthworms into the substrate, moisture and pH are periodically measured in the latter. In the substrate, optimum humidity and acidity are constantly maintained at a pH of 6.8-7.2. Their values are corrected by introducing into the substrate an electroactivated solution with an appropriate concentration of hydrogen ions. To isolate the biomass of earthworms, the substrate is wetted with only one of the fractions of the electroactivated solution with a limiting pH value. After biomass is isolated, the substrate can be used as fertilizer or, after normalization, as described above, as a feed for further cultivation of vermiculture. For the directed isolation of the biomass of the worms, the substrate begins to be moistened with one of the fractions of the electroactivated solution in layers from the side opposite to the necessary direction of movement of the worms. This operation is performed until complete or partial isolation of biomass.
The application of these methods will reduce material and labor costs in the preparation of the substrate and the cultivation of worms by eliminating expensive mineral additives normalizing the pH of the substrate and mechanisms for dispensing and adding them, increasing the efficiency of vermicomposting processes due to more precise and finer regulation of the parameters of the substrate as a habitat and feed for earthworms, as well as an increase in productivity and degree of biomass release in the production of vermiprotein.
