Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the protection of metals from corrosion, in particular, to the field of removal of corrosion products and phosphating of the surface of metals.
Known compositions for removing rust and phosphating the surface of metals containing a solution of phosphoric acid.
The closest to the achieved result is the composition BA-01-GISI containing phosphoric acid, ethyl silicate-32, potassium iron-sulphide, surfactant OP-7 and polyvinyl acetate dispersion.
The disadvantage of this composition is that it does not allow for high-quality surface treatment, which subsequently leads to the formation on this surface of a paint and varnish coating with poor and physico-mechanical properties.
The aim of the invention is to improve the physico-mechanical properties of the paint coating formed on the surface of the metal after processing by the composition.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the composition containing orthophosphoric acid, potassium iron-hydrogen sulfide, surfactant, ethyl silicate, and still bottoms of dimethylphosphite production and water are added, as surfactant - oxyphos B, as ethyl silicate - ethyl silicate-40 in the following ratio of components, wt.%% :
Phosphoric acid - 20-30
VAT residues of dimethylphosphite production - 5-15
Potassium iron-ferrous - 5-10
Ethylsilicate-40 - 1-5
Oksifos B - 0.5-2.0
Water - Else
VAT residue production of dimethylphosphite contains, wt.%: Dimethylphosphite 19.5; monomethylphosphite 71.43; phosphorous acid 9.0; impurities the rest, helps to remove rust and phosphate the surface of the metal. In addition, impurities in which there are alcohol residues, together with oxyphos B improve the degreasing ability of the composition.
Ethyl silicate-40 also contributes to a better removal of contaminants and the formation of a high-quality paint coating on the surface.
1. Variants of the proposed composition (in wt.%) Are presented in table. one.
2.Example. A plate measuring 75 x 100 mm made of 08KP steel with corrosion products was dipped into used industrial oil. Thus prepared samples were subjected to processing the proposed composition with a brush. Enamel PF-115 (GOST 6465-76) and primer GF-0119 (GOST 23343-78) with a working viscosity of 15-25 sec at a temperature of 20 ± 2 o C with natural drying of each layer at a temperature of 20 ± 20 were applied to the treated samples by
The adhesion was determined according to GOST 15140-78 by the method of trellised notches. The essence of the method consists in applying lattice cuts to the finished paintwork and visual assessment of the condition of the coating using a four-point system.
The strength of the film upon impact was tested on a U-1 device according to GOST 4765-73. The method is based on the deformation of a metal plate with a paint-and-lacquer material applied to it during free fall of the load onto the plate.
The data in the table. 2 indicate higher physical and mechanical properties of the paint coating formed on the metal plates after preliminary processing of the latter proposed by the composition.
