Abstract
Description
The invention relates to orthopedic dentistry and relates to the construction of a tire for the treatment of jaw fractures.
Known tires are immobilized wire teeth for the treatment of fractures of the jaw [1] which are used in combination with interdental rubber pad and intermaxillary traction for repairing fragments of the mandibular bone.
A disadvantage of the known design is the need for its rigid fixation to the teeth, which complicates the hygienic processing of the near-foot space, the inability to directionally move fragments of the broken lower jaw, as well as its use in cases of partial and complete absence of teeth.
A known tire for the treatment of jaw fractures containing a base with fixation means and supporting planes, the supporting planes are made in the form of plastic plates that are rigidly fixed to the base and are necessary to move fragments of a broken jaw along the transverse axis [2]
Known tire [2] is the closest in technical essence and is selected as a prototype.
A disadvantage of the known tire is that it allows you to treat jaw fractures by moving jaw fragments along the vertical axis, along the sagittal axis in the dorsal and abdominal directions.
The objective of the invention is the creation of a tire that allows the effectiveness to treat jaw fractures with complete and partial loss of teeth.
The technical problem is solved in that the tire for the treatment of jaw fractures, containing a basis and supporting planes, further comprises an immobilizing tooth wire bar means made with the possibility of connection with the basis by means of hook loops and rubber rings, while the supporting planes are made in the form of guiding occlusal plates for displacement of jaw fragments along the vertical axis, along the transverse axis, and along the sagittal axis in the dorsal and abdominal directions, and the basis is equipped with fixation means.
Figure 1 shows a splint for the treatment of jaw fractures; figure 2 tire for the treatment of jaw fractures in working condition.
5. The tire (Fig. 1) includes a
On the
8. During treatment, an additional displacement of the
The proposed tire makes it possible to dose loads and move fragments of the jaw along the vertical axis, the transverse axis and the sagittal axis, in the dorsal and abdominal directions, which generally allows you to effectively treat jaw fractures and use the splint with complete and partial loss of teeth, it is hygienic to care.
The tire for the treatment of jaw fractures was tested in the maxillofacial department at the Republican Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
