Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to veterinary medicine, and in particular to anthelmintic preparations.
Helminthiases of animals are still common and cause significant losses of meat, milk, wool and other livestock products. The success of deworming depends on the availability of highly effective low-toxic, generally available and inexpensive anthelmintics, simple to use.
Among anthelmintics, inorganic ones containing arsenic, tin, lead, cadmium, copper, which have a fairly high toxicity, are poorly excreted, although they exhibit high therapeutic activity in the complex of anthelmintic measures.
Organic medicines usually exhibit pronounced anthelmintic properties, satisfy the requirements for anthelmintics (cost-effectiveness, general availability) and are now firmly established in veterinary practice.
Known anthelmintic organic structure nilverm. It is medium toxic, easy to use. Nilverm was first released by the English company "ICI". Nilverm is 2,3,5,5'-tetrahydro-6-phenylimidose-2,1-b-thiazole and is intended for the treatment of pulmonary and other nematodoses of animals [1]
The closest in technical essence to the claimed tool is the anthelmintic nilverm, intended for oral administration in the treatment of nematodoses of sheep or tetramizole similar in action. For the treatment of sheep, aqueous solutions of these drugs are usually used, since the efficacy against sexually mature hemonchuses and strongils of these anthelmintics is manifested precisely when they are administered orally at doses of 10-15 mg / kg twice [2]
The aim of the invention is to achieve a high therapeutic effect while reducing the dose of an active anthelmintic agent administered by prolonging its effect on the animal organism.
ч. For this, an anthelmintic agent for the treatment of nematodoses in sheep, containing nilverm or tetramisole, additionally contains highly dispersed silica in the following ratio of components, parts by weight
Nilverm or tetramisole 1-2
Fine silica 3-15
The invention is illustrated by examples of the preparation of the composition, formulations (see table 1), as well as the method of use of the inventive anthelmintic agent for the treatment of nematodoses of sheep respiratory diseases caused by pulmonary strongilata.
PRI me R 1.50 g of tetramisole (20% granulate) is dissolved in 100 ml of water, add 75 g of finely divided silica (GOST 14922-77 Aerosil). This forms a pasty mass, which, after stirring for 15-30 minutes, dried at 140-150 ° C in an oven. After drying, the resulting product is triturated in a ball mill, and then used in the treatment.
PRI me
PRI me
PRI me
PRI me
PRI me
At a ratio of 1:17, there is an excess of finely divided silica in the composition. Therefore, to give the amount of active substance (nilverm) necessary for treatment, it is necessary to introduce to the animal such an amount of composition in volume that creates discomfort for it. In short, oral administration of the composition to an animal is difficult. Formulations 7-12 were prepared according to the technology described in example 1 (basic procedure).
The following is a methodology for the treatment of nematodoses of sheep using the inventive composition.
It should be noted that in the groups of sheep, compositions prepared according to various technologies were used, namely: in
The experimental technique.
The experiments on the treatment of sheep nematodoses were carried out in January February at the Crimean research veterinary station using animals from the collective farm Zaveta Ilyich of Simferopol region.
Before conducting the experiment on the collective farm, the claimed compounds were tested for harmlessness on the NIVS vivarium sheep. Preparations in the form of a suspension in distilled water were administered once through the mouth in doses three times higher than therapeutic. Monitoring of the clinical condition of animals (behavior, appetite), thermometry was carried out before the introduction of drugs, 2 hours, 24 hours and 7 days after administration of drugs of the claimed composition. As it turned out, no changes in the physiological parameters of the body were found in animals, side effects were not observed.
For testing, the sheep were divided into groups, 4 heads each, one of them,
Before the experiment, the sheep were examined clinically and helminthoproctologically. As a result of studies, it was found that the sheep had clinical signs of respiratory diseases: cough, mucopurulent discharge from the nose. The rate of invasion by pulmonary strongilates was high: dictiocauls of 100% protostrongils ranged from 25 to 75%
The subjects received an orally freshly prepared aqueous suspension of anthelmintic in a dose of 5-7 mg / kg live weight (calculated on the active substance (ADV)). As a rule, this was 3-5 g of the inventive anthelmintic agent per sheep with an average weight of 40 kg.
14. After the introduction of drugs, the condition of animals of groups 1-8 was satisfactory. Sheep was clinically monitored, feces were taken after 5 days and again after 14.
2. The results are presented in table.2.
It should be noted that in
The intensity of dictiocaul invasion in the experimental groups is almost zero (only one sheep in the group found 2 larvae, which, when counted on 4 heads, gave an average of 0.5 larvae).
Thus, an anthelmintic agent with a lower dose of active principle shows a high therapeutic activity. In the treatment with this composition, even with a single use, a stable therapeutic effect is achieved, the second time the drug is not used, which is necessary when using pure nilverm or tetramizole. A single use of the composition allows you to achieve savings in expensive imported drugs and reduce the cost of secondary administration of the drug.
The drug is non-toxic and does not cause side effects, has no smell.
