A method for determining the coordinates of a target in a radar with continuous radiation, which consists in sensing the target with a signal with chirp, reception by antennas of the first and second channels of reflected signals, demodulation of the received signals and storing them in appropriate memory devices, forming a set of reference signals with different slope of chirp , the range of values of which is selected based on the a priori range of target speeds, and the number of reference signals based on the required accuracy of determining the radial velocity, multiplying each reference signal with the demodulated signal of the first channel, forming a matrix of spectra of the multiplication results, determining the spectrum number
