Способ профилактики маститов у высокопродуктивных коров, включающий введение в соски внутрицестернально лечебного препарата с антибиотиком, отличающийся тем, что вводят препарат в виде фармакологической композиции, состоящей из доксициклина как действующего вещества, диметилглицеролатов кремния, глицеролатов кремния как основы, гидроксиэтилцеллюлозы как стабилизатора и дистиллированной воды как растворителя, при этом препарат состоит из компонентов при соотношении, мас. %:1.
