Способ переработки фосфогипса на сульфат аммония и фосфомел, включающий конверсию фосфогипса раствором карбоната аммония с последующим отделением осадка фосфомела от раствора сульфата аммония фильтрацией, отличающийся тем, что конверсию ведут раствором карбоната аммония с концентрацией 3-7%, конверсионную пульпу делят на два потока, один из которых направляют на стадию разбавления карбоната аммония до указанной концентрации в течение 3-5 мин., в второй - на фильтрацию для отделения осадка фосфомела от раствора сульфата аммония.2. Способ по п.1, отличающийся тем, что фосфогипс перед конверсией распульповывают оборотным раствором сульфата аммония до отношения твердой и жидкой фаз 1: 2-3.1.
