Способ обогащения и активации диатомита, включающий подготовку диатомита, выделение целевой фракции, сушку, измельчение и обработку кислотой в режиме кипения, отличающийся тем, что дополнительно осуществляют обжиг выделенной целевой фракции в печи кипящего слоя при температуре 550-900°С в течение 20-360 с, при этом выделение целевой фракции проводят механически под действием центробежных или вибрационных сил, а обработку целевой фракции кислотой ведут с одновременным перемешиванием в течение 20-30 мин при ее концентрации 0,1-0,5Н.2. Способ по п.1, отличающийся тем, что в качестве кислоты используют соляную или серную кислоту.1.
