Abstract
1. Apparatus containing:! electrolysis cell; ! a liquid flow path that passes through the electrolysis cell; ! an indicator lamp positioned relative to the flow path such that the luminous flux emitted from the lamp illuminates at least a portion of the flow path on the apparatus and is visually perceived through the liquid in the flow path from an observation point that is external to the apparatus; and! a control circuit that is configured to light an indicator lamp in dependence on the electrical performance of the electrolysis cell. ! 2. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising:! a housing containing a window that is at least translucent and through which at least a portion of the luminous flux is emitted. ! 3. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising:! a housing containing a translucent part through which at least part of the light flux is emitted. ! 4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the fluid flow path comprises a vessel that is located upstream of the electrolysis cell along the flow path and an indicator lamp is positioned to illuminate the liquid within the vessel. ! 5. Apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the apparatus comprises a hand-held spray gun that carries:! electrolysis cell; ! a pump connected in the flow path; ! a vessel in the flow path for containing a liquid to be treated by the electrolysis cell; and! nozzle in the flow path. ! 6. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the indicator lamp is positioned to illuminate the liquid within the vessel. ! 7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein at least a portion of the vessel is at least translucent. ! 8. Apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the atomizer is additional�
