Способ сжижения водорода, включающий следующие стадии: ! a) предварительное охлаждение потока водорода посредством непрямого теплообмена с потоком ЖПГ, находящегося под давлением, до температуры между 140 и 130 К, ! b) предварительное охлаждение потока водорода посредством непрямого теплообмена с хладагентом до температуры между 85 и 75 К, ! c) где предварительное охлаждение хладагента осуществляют с потоком ЖПГ, находящегося под давлением, и ! d) охлаждение и сжижение, по меньшей мере, части предварительно охлажденного потока водорода посредством непрямого теплообмена со следующим потоком водорода, который ведут в замкнутом холодильном цикле, ! e) причем предварительное охлаждение конденсированного, проводимого в замкнутом цикле потока водорода осуществляют с потоком ЖПГ, находящегося под давлением. ! 2. Способ по п.1, отличающийся тем, что в качестве хладагента для предварительного охлаждение потока водорода используют азот.
