Инструмент для обработки углубления сферической формы, содержащий корпус, имеющий ось вращения и снабженный режущими элементами, отличающийся тем, что режущие элементы выполнены в виде колец из износостойкого материала с заостренными торцевыми режущими кромками-лезвиями, лежащими в плоскостях, перпендикулярных осям колец, и ограниченными дугами менее 180°, режущие элементы в количестве от 2 до 8 закреплены на корпусе так, что оси колец пересекаются в одной точке, расположенной на оси вращения корпуса, плоскости лезвий равноудалены от вышеуказанной точки, край одного из лезвий расположен на оси вращения корпуса.1.
