Abstract
The invention relates to non-destructive testing, and in particular to eddy current flaw detectors, and can be used to detect defects and measure their depth in products from electrically conductive ferromagnetic materials. The purpose of the invention is to increase the noise immunity and information content by also controlling the depth of defects. The output voltage of the functional amplifier 8 is linearly dependent on the depth of the defect, and the magnitude of the depth of the defect is shown on the scale of the indicating device 11. The threshold device provides the necessary adjustable signal level through the selector 13 pulses in duration in block 14 indication. The threshold device 12 generates signals arriving at its input into rectangular pulses, which is necessary for the operation of the selector 13, which ensures the passage of signals in a given range of their duration. This allows to increase the noise immunity from interference and electromagnetic inhomogeneities of the surface of the controlled part 3 id
