Claims (14)

The method of obtaining the composition according to any one of claims 1 to 9, comprising microparticles for the gradual release of an agricultural chemical, comprising the steps of:
(a) dissolving at least one agricultural chemical selected from cyproconazole, epoxiconazole or tebuconazole and a polymer in an organic solvent to form a hydrophobic solution;
(b) mixing a hydrophobic solution and an aqueous medium with a shear rate and for a period of time sufficient to produce an emulsion having droplets of a hydrophobic solution dispersed in an aqueous medium;
(c) evaporation from the emulsion of an organic solvent to produce a variety of microparticles having an average diameter of 0.2–200 μm and including at least one agricultural chemical distributed in the polymer matrix.
