Description
The invention relates to pump construction, in particular to rotary vane pumps and can be used in various industries as mobile and stationary pumping units for pumping liquid during discharge and loading operations.
The aim of the invention is to increase the reliability and durability of the pump by providing an equal friction path for the pump plates.
In FIG. 1 shows a vane pump (sectional view); figure 2 - clip of the pump (axonometric); on fig.Z - possible options for windows in clips.
Площади и форма окон выбираютс в зависимости от подачи насоса по известным закономерност м .The vane pump consists of a housing 1, a cage 2, a rotor with radial grooves 3, in which rectangular plates are mounted 4. In the cage 2 there is a contactor 5 made in the suction and discharge zones of the windows 6 and 7, and also on the inside of the casing 2 are deaf recesses 8 and 9, Pressure windows 7 are a mirror image of the suction windows 6. The area and shape of the windows are selected depending on the pump flow according to known patterns.
To remove the pump, the following conventions are introduced:
В - ширина обоймы, мм;B - clip width, mm;
d - диаметр (высота) окна (выемки), мм;d is the diameter (height) of the window (recess), mm;
b - толщина стенки обоймы, мм;b - casing wall thickness, mm;
б - глубина выемки, мм;b - the depth of the excavation, mm;
D is the diameter of the clip, mm
The depth of the recesses 8 and 9 b can be minimal, not more than 0.5-1 mm, which does not affect the strength of the holder 2 having a thickness b of 6-8 mm.
Depending on the size and configuration of the windows 6 and 7, the recesses 8 and 9 in the holder 2, before being pressed into the housing 1, can be made by making through holes with subsequent pressing of special inserts of the required thickness

That provides the necessary depth of the recesses ((5 0,5-1) mm.
The pump operates as follows. When the rotor 3 rotates in the direction of the arrow (see Fig. 1), a change in the elementary volumes of the chambers formed by the inner cylindrical surface of the casing 2 of the housing 1, two plates 4 and the end caps of the pump creates a vacuum in the pump cavity A and causes fluid to the pressure line of the pump from its cavity B. In the known pumps having in the cage 2 suction and pressure windows consisting of several through holes, the friction ends of the plates wear out unevenly during operation. In the places where the plates A are in contact with windows b and 7, their wear is much less than when they contact the jumpers (between the windows) in the holder 2. In the proposed pump, the entire length of the working plate 4 is due to the presence of windows b and 7 and recesses 8 and 9 has a friction path equal along the entire length of the plate 4 along the inner surface of the casing 2, thereby ensuring uniform wear of the rubbing surface of the plates 4, which increases the reliability (durability) of the pump without reducing the hydraulic performance of the pump.
The proposed technical solution was tested on a AZT-5M vane pump while pumping water. In the AZT-5M pump, a volume holder was inserted into the casing. At the beginning of the tests, a clip was installed with suction and pressure windows in the form of five holes (see Fig. 3a). After 100 hours, the pump was disassembled and the condition of the plates was checked. The end rubbing surfaces of the plates in places opposite
Затем вthe windows had practically no wear, along the edges of the plates the wear was 0.15-0.18 mm, and the pump efficiency decreased from 55% at the beginning of the test to 43% at the end. Then in
The pump housing AZT-5M was fitted with a clip with windows made in full accordance with the invention. At the beginning of the tests and after 100 hours and 500 hours of operation, the pump efficiency remained practically unchanged and amounted to 55%. Analysis of the condition of the plates after 500 hours showed that the end friction surfaces of the plates over the entire working surface showed signs of uniform wear. Thus, the proposed design of the vane pump allows increasing the pump life (life) by 2.5-3 times without reducing the hydraulic performance.
