Abstract

The claimed technical solution relates to railway transport, in particular to the sanitary-hygienic equipment of a double-decker passenger car. The sanitary-hygienic equipment of a double-decker passenger car contains a storage tank and a toilet room, toilet rooms on the first and second floors. The entrance area is connected to the second floor by a staircase located between the toilet room on the entrance area and the toilet room on the first floor. A toilet is installed in each toilet room, connected by a corresponding drain line to the storage tank. The storage tank is made in the form of a horizontally oriented pentagonal prism with a low center of gravity, placed under the aforementioned ladder and mounted on the entrance floor. The claimed technical solution relates to railway transport, in particular, to the sanitary-hygienic equipment of a double-decker passenger car.

Known two-story railway passenger car (patent of the Russian Federation No. 91554 U1, B61D 1/08, application. 04.08.2009, published. 02.20.2010, bull. No. 5), the sanitary-hygienic equipment of which contains located at the entrance of the car a storage tank and toilets for installation, one in each toilet room, while each toilet is connected by a corresponding drain line to said storage tank.

In the known solution, the toilet facilities are located only at the entrance area, which is not always convenient for passengers on the first and second floors. The storage tank is located in a special technical room, which occupies the useful area of the car and complicates the design of sanitary equipment.

The closest technical solution (adopted as a prototype) is the sanitary equipment of a double-decker passenger car (patent of the Russian Federation No. 109069 U1, B61D 35/00, declared. 02.18.2011, publ. 10.10.2011, bull. No. 28) containing a storage tank and a toilet located on the entrance platform of the car, and toilets for installation one at a time in the toilet room on the first floor and in the toilet room on the second floor, connected by a staircase to the entrance area, each toilet being connected by a corresponding drain line to the aforementioned storage tank.

In this solution, the storage tank is also located in a special technical room, which complicates the design of the sanitary equipment of the car. In addition, the storage tank has the shape of a parallelepiped elongated in the vertical direction with a high center of gravity and mounted on the walls of the car. To ensure stability, an additional safety mount is provided for the storage tank to the partition of the car, which complicates the design of sanitary equipment. The storage tank is located far from the toilet facilities of the first and second floors and during operation, there is a high probability of blockages in the drain lines due to their large length and height differences from the toilet to the storage tank.

The objective of the proposal is to simplify the design of sanitary equipment of a double-decker passenger car and increase its operational reliability.

For this, the sanitary-hygienic equipment of a double-decker passenger carriage contains a storage tank and a toilet bowl located at the entrance of the carriage, and toilet bowls for installation one at a time in the toilet room on the first floor and in the toilet room on the second floor, connected by a staircase to the entrance area, each toilet is connected by a corresponding drain line to said storage tank.

What is new is that the storage tank is made in the form of a horizontally oriented pentagonal prism with a low center of gravity, placed under the indicated staircase and mounted on the entrance platform floor.

The implementation of the storage tank in the form of a horizontally oriented pentagonal prism with a low center of gravity and fixing it on the floor of the entrance platform ensures the stability of the storage tank without additional elements for fastening, for example, to the walls and partitions of the car, which simplifies the design of sanitary equipment.

Placing the storage tank under the staircase provides it with a close proximity to all toilet facilities, which reduces the length and height difference of the drain lines from the toilets to the storage tank and, as a result, reduces the resistance to movement of fecal matter in them, reducing the likelihood of clogging in the drain lines , which increases the operational reliability of sanitary equipment.

Placing a storage tank under the stairs does not require a special technical room for its installation, which simplifies the design of sanitary-hygienic equipment and allows you to increase the usable space in the car and use it for other purposes, for example, for storing technical equipment of maintenance personnel (s) or placing a chair wheelchairs of a wheelchair user.
