Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of chemical processing of metals, mainly for the clarification of aluminum alloys doped with silicon, and can be used in the metallurgical, engineering, instrument-making industries of the national economy, in particular for preparing the surface of parts before applying galvanic and paint coatings.
The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the clarification solution and reduce the etching of the aluminum base.
The solution for the clarification of aluminum alloys doped with silicon, contains, in g / l: Nitric acid 400-700
Hydrofluoric acid 60-150 Sodium nitrate 35-90
Bismuth (III) nitrate, pentahide 0.05-0.15
The invention can be illustrated by the following examples.
П р и м е р 1.
Для каждого раствора осветления определяют работоспособность, то есть площадь поверхности деталей, которую можно обработать в единице объема раствора до потери им осветляющей способности (в дм2/л), и величину подтравливания металла при осветлении, то есть толщину алюминия, которая растворяется в растворе за 1 мин (в мкм/мин).The compositions of the tested solutions and comparative experimental data on the studies are presented in the table. For each clarification solution, the working capacity is determined, that is, the surface area of the parts that can be processed in a unit volume of the solution until it loses its brightening ability (in dm 2 / l), and the amount of metal etching during clarification, that is, the thickness of aluminum that dissolves in the solution after 1 min (in microns / min).
The table shows that an increase in the efficiency of the clarification solution and a decrease in the etching of the aluminum base is achieved by the joint introduction of additional sodium and bismuth nitrates into the solution (example 1), both at their optimal content (example 2) and at boundary concentrations (examples 3 and 4 ) With a reduced content of both components (example 5) or the absence of one of them (examples 7 and 8), the goal is not achieved. The increased content of sodium nitrate and bismuth (example 6) is not economically feasible, since it does not provide an improvement compared to the recommended concentrations.
The low efficiency of the clarification solution requires frequent replacement. The spent solution, which has lost its clarifying ability, contains up to 300 g / l of nitric acid, up to 100 g / l of fluorine in various highly toxic compounds and creates the need for laborious special cleaning.
Etching of the surface of illuminated aluminum parts is accompanied by an increase in its roughness, which affects the quality of shiny coatings, as well as the release of a large amount of toxic nitrogen oxides.
