Purpose and scope
The claimed utility model relates to the field of electronics and is designed to operate as part of quartz oscillators.
State of the art
Known quartz resonator thermostats (SRT) containing a quartz piezoelectric plate (PP) with film electrodes deposited on it, as well as a temperature control system that includes a heater and a temperature sensor, which, together with the PP, is placed in a vacuum chamber of the SRT, ensuring accurate maintenance of the temperature of the PP when changing ambient temperature [Piezoelectric resonators. Handbook Ed. P.E. Kandyba and P.G. Pozdnyakova, M., 1992, p. 323]. Thanks to the placement of the temperature control system inside the evacuated volume of the SRT together with the PC, low power consumption, a short heating time, as well as a reduction in the size of the thermostatically controlled crystal oscillator are achieved. The disadvantages of this solution include the insufficient mechanical strength of such devices and the complex cycle of manufacture and assembly of structural elements.
(RU128042)SRT solutions are also known from the prior art, including a quartz piezoelectric plate with a film heater, a temperature sensor and a thermostatic control unit with an electric circuit placed on a heat-conducting board, which is installed on the basis of a vacuum enclosure with a heat insulator, where the heat insulator is made of metal, for example, hook-shaped nichrome strips with ends bent in different directions, forming at different levels of the platform with mutually parallel planes, the lower the spot is welded to the base of the housing by spot welding, and a board on the “glue lock” is glued to the upper platform (RU128042)
Embodiments of the design of a quartz resonator close to the above solution are also known in the prior art, for example, those shown in FIG. 1-3 published US application for invention US2004021402, in which the resonator is equipped with two, three or four racks of fastening of the resonator plate, respectively. The heat path of each rack in these structures provides the required heat loss of the SRT, while, obviously, the heat loss in these structures can be reduced by choosing a housing of a higher height, and, therefore, the implementation of racks of greater height; or the choice of material with lower thermal conductivity, for example, titanium alloys; or by changing the number of racks. It is also possible to place a buffer material compatible in thermal conductivity, for example, as presented in US Pat. No. 5,030,875, where the intermediate (buffer) quartz layer is a protective layer that, in addition to solving the problem of reducing mechanical stresses in the structure due to differences in thermal expansion coefficients its elements, additionally provides maintaining the distance between the mounting elements.
All the above solutions provide an effect that reduces mechanical stress, primarily arising in the structure due to differences in the coefficient of thermal expansion of structural elements. At the same time, the possibility of changing the number of racks fixing the resonator plate allows one to reduce mechanical loads caused by external environmental influences, including as a result of shock loads, thereby increasing the MCT strength. However, a significant drawback of this kind of solution is the high likelihood of excessive deformation of long mounting elements (racks) when exposed to mechanical stress, which leads to a deterioration in the operational parameters of the resonator, a decrease in the stability of the SRT frequency and an increase in power consumption. In addition, these solutions have a complex structure that requires the use of special assembly conditions for all components of the SRT and specialized equipment for its implementation.
Closest to the set of essential features adopted for the prototype, the claimed solution of the utility model relates to the MCT solution disclosed in the description of utility model RU 103042, containing a vacuum case in which a quartz piezoelectric plate with film excitation electrodes deposited on it is mounted through contact petals on a dielectric substrate with thermostatic system elements placed on it, which is mounted on a heat-insulating support mounted on the basis of a vacuum enclosure having conclusions from the exciting electrodes and thermostatic system. The dielectric substrate is fixed in two places to the heat-insulating support in the form of a ring, which, in turn, is glued to the heat-insulating dielectric strip, the central part of which is glued to the base of the TO-8 (NS-37) type vacuum housing. The SRT has conclusions for connecting the exciting electrodes to the external circuit of the oscillator, as well as conclusions for connecting the temperature control circuit to an external voltage source. Due to the vacuum thermal insulation of the heated parts of its structure (dielectric substrate, PP and metal shield) and the low thermal conductivity of the heat-insulating ring, this MCT has a low power consumption and a short settling frequency after switching on. However, the disadvantage of this design, as well as the previous analogues, is its low mechanical strength, which is unacceptable with increased mechanical stresses, especially when exposed to single strokes.
Utility Model Essence
The technical problem solved by the claimed utility model is to propose a simple, compact design of the SRT, providing an increase in the strength characteristics of the structure while simplifying the manufacturing and assembly of its elements and maintaining the high operational characteristics of the SRT.
The technical result achieved by the application of the claimed utility model consists in expanding the arsenal of SRT means, which provide an increase in the mechanical strength and intrinsic mechanical resonance of the structure as compared to the prototype while maintaining the amount of consumed electric power used for thermostating purposes.
The claimed technical result is achieved by using a quartz resonator-thermostat (CMT) containing a vacuum enclosure in which a quartz piezoelectric plate with film excitation electrodes deposited on it is mounted through contact petals on a dielectric substrate with thermostatic system elements mounted on it, which is mounted on a heat-insulating support installed on the basis of a vacuum enclosure having leads from exciting electrodes and a temperature control system. In this case, unlike the prototype, the heat-insulating support consists of three consecutive vertically aligned coaxial heat-insulating support rings made of a material with low thermal conductivity and connected along the end contact surfaces of the support rings to each other, as well as to adjacent contact surfaces of the dielectric substrate and bases, with the formation of contact joints on adjacent contact surfaces of the connected elements, in four parallel mounting planes, each of which x contains at least three attachment points evenly distributed over the end contact surface of the joined support ring and adjacent contact surfaces, providing rotation of the position of the attachment points relative to the axis of rotation of the support ring in the plane of attachment of each subsequent group of contact joints by an angle equal to half the angle between adjacent attachment points of the previous attachment plane.
Thus, according to the claimed utility model, the dielectric substrate is attached to the upper end surface of the first heat-insulating support ring from the side of the lower contact surface, which is attached with its lower end surface to the upper end surface of the second heat-insulating support ring, which, in turn, is its lower end surface attached to the upper end surface of the third heat-insulating support ring, which is attached to its lower end surface on the upper contact surface of a vacuum base housing having terminals of the exciting electrodes piezoceramic plate (PP) and temperature control system. At the same time, the scheme of contact connections with a uniform distribution, for example, around the circumference, of attachment points (point attachment areas) containing at least three attachment points, used in the claimed solution of the utility model for fastening between each of the SRT elements (dielectric substrate, heat-insulating support rings and base) in each plane of attachment, in comparison with the prototype, in the design of which a single-point mount is incorporated, it allows to increase the rigidity of the mount system of the piezoelectric plate and thereby increases sion frequency of mechanical resonance and strength of the entire CRT designs, its resistance to mechanical stress, including impact loads, thereby providing a frequency stability of the cavity.
The use of alternating rotation of the position of the attachment points relative to the axis of rotation of the support ring in each subsequent attachment plane to an angle equal to half the angle between adjacent attachment points of the previous attachment plane in the MCT design allows, on the one hand, to increase, as indicated above, the frequency of mechanical resonance and the mechanical strength of the entire design of the SRT, as well as, on the other hand, lengthen the path for heat fluxes and those m thereby reduce the amount of electrical energy required for temperature control.
In a preferred embodiment, the connection of the support rings to each other, the dielectric substrate and the base is carried out at the attachment points through gaskets to each of the adjacent contact surfaces of the contact joints.
60°In one embodiment of the utility model, each contact joint, in four parallel attachment planes, is provided with three attachment points evenly distributed over the contacting surfaces, and the rotation of the attachment point position in each of the subsequent attachment planes relative to the axis of rotation of the heat insulating support is 60 °

It should be noted that the accompanying drawings illustrate only one of the most preferred embodiments of the utility model and cannot be considered as limitations on the content of the utility model, which includes other options for its implementation.
Feasibility of utility model.
1. As follows from FIG. 1a) - c) of an embodiment of the utility model of the SRT according to the claimed utility model includes a base of a
The claimed utility model can be implemented on the basis of mass-produced MCTs in glass or metal cases. In this case, the support rings of the insulating support are made of a material with low thermal conductivity, for example, glass or metal, for example, nichrome tape. The gaskets, in this case, can also be made of glass or metal, for example, a copper tape, preferably at least 0.1 mm thick. The connection of the support rings of the heat-insulating support to each other and the surface of the base and the dielectric substrate can be performed, for example, with epoxy adhesive, or other connection, providing a durable connection with low gas emission. The fastening of the PCB to the mounting tabs is preferably carried out with conductive glue, for example, Loctite Ablestik 84. However, other methods of fastening contact surfaces to each other, as well as fastening the PCB to the mounting tabs, are also possible.
When a supply voltage is supplied through the terminals to the internal temperature control circuit, the dielectric substrate 12 begins to heat up to a predetermined temperature with further support of this temperature with high accuracy over the entire range of ambient MCT temperatures. The heated dielectric substrate 12 through the mounting lobes 13 and, to a much lesser extent, through the thermal conductivity of the residual gas in the evacuated CMT volume and infrared radiation, heats the quartz PP 14 to its operating temperature. In this case, the heated parts of the SRT lose energy mainly through the heat-insulating support, consisting of three heat-insulating support rings 11, 9 and 7. Contact connections between the dielectric substrate 12 and the support ring 11, the support rings 11 and 9, the support rings 9 and 7, and the support ring 7 and the
Obviously, when using more than three point regions of the connection in contact joints, the claimed technical result will also be achieved in full.
At the same time, the ability to make support rings of various materials with low thermal conductivity, of different sizes, provided that contact joints are provided in accordance with the claimed utility model, can additionally affect the increase in the strength and mechanical reliability of the SRT design, as well as its thermal insulation.
Thus, the solution according to the claimed utility model offers a technologically simple design of the SRT, which provides a significant increase in the mechanical strength and intrinsic mechanical resonance of the structure while maintaining the amount of consumed electric power used for temperature control.
