Abstract

Protecting fruit plants from aphides prevents damaging of young shoots and keeps a good quality of products. A common way for protecting fruit plants is winter treatment by chemical agents, and during vegetation as well, but in that way the soil and the fruits become polluted, and the sprinkling is directly dangerous for human beings.Habitation and life of aphides on the fruit plants depends on the presence of ants on the frutes trees, and by preventing the coming of ants to the plants of the fruits, on an approximately 1 m from the soil, sponge enveloped in a PVC foil that tied by a rope whereon from the inside is layered a specially prepared fat that prevents ants to come to the crown of a tree, and if there is no ant on the fruit trees, there will be no aphides, sooth and specks. This sort of protection may be applied to all sorts of fruit trees, and it should be placed not later than the 1st of April of the current year.
