Invnetia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a poliacetatului de vinil cu grad de ramificare mic si masa moleculara mare, prin polimerizarea în atmosfera de azot a acetatului de vinil cu o concentratie de 7,1 ... 7,5 mol/l într-un amestec din 5 volume metanol si un volum apa sub actiunea sistemului redox persulfat de amoniu - acid L - ascorbic, la 20 ... 40 grade C.
