Abstract
Corpurile ceramice autoportante, conform inventiei, cuprind o matrice ceramica policristalina, formata, de preferinta, din alfa-alumina, constituita din doua zone distincte ca structura si/sau compozitie, proprietati fizice sau chimice, având un substrat interior ce reprezinta prima zona de oxidare a metalului de baza si un strat exterior dens cu granulatia fina ce reprezinta zona terminala de oxidare a metalului de baza. Procedeul de obtinere a corpurilor ceramice mentionate prevede încalzirea oxidanta a metalului de baza topit, în trepte distincte, realizând încalzirea în treapta întâi pentru formarea în conditii cunoscute a primei zone de oxidare prin transportul metalului topit prin produsul reactiei de oxidare format, la interfata de contact cu oxidantul, urmata în a doua treapta de atenuarea transportului de metal mentionat prin produsul reactiei de oxidare si de continuarea în a treia treapta a reactiei de oxidare în domeniul prestabilit de temperaturi, un timp suficient pentru a transporta metalul topit interconectat în produsul de reactie rezultat în prima zona de oxidare catre o suprafata a acestuia pentru formarea produsului reactiei de oxidare pe suprafata mentionata si care constituie zona terminala de oxidare a metalului de baza. Metalul de baza care se supune oxidarii în conditiile de mai sus este ales în mod cunoscut între Si, Ti, Zr, Hf, Sn si, de preferinta, Al.According to the invention, the self-supporting ceramic bodies comprise a polycrystalline ceramic matrix, preferably formed of alpha-alumina, consisting of two distinct areas as structure and / or composition, physical or chemical properties having an inner substrate which is the first oxidation zone of the base metal and a dense outer layer with fine granulation representing the terminal metal oxidation zone. The process for obtaining said ceramic bodies provides for the oxidative heating of the molten parent metal in distinct steps, making the heating in the first stage for the formation under known conditions of the first oxidation zone by the molten metal transport through the oxidation reaction product formed at the contact interface with the oxidant followed by the second step of attenuating the metal transport mentioned by the oxidation reaction product and continuing in the third step of the oxidation reaction in the predetermined temperature range, sufficient time to carry the interconnected molten metal into the resulting reaction product in the first oxidation zone to a surface thereof for forming the product of oxidation reaction on said surface and which constitutes the terminal zone of oxidation of the base metal. The base metal subjected to oxidation under the above conditions is chosen in a manner known to Si, Ti, Zr, Hf, Sn, and preferably Al.
