Inventia se refera la combinatia care contine doua centre metalice, ionul de cupru (I) si vanadiu (III) iar drept liganzi functioneaza ionul clorura, amina macrociclica 3,5,8,10 tetra-azaciclodecan si monoxidul de carbon, caracterizata prin formula [Cu(CO)(C indice 6 H indice 16 N indice 4][VCl indice 4]. Combinatia obtinuta prezinta activitate catalitica selectiva în fixarea monoxidului de carbon.
