Inventia se refera la un electrod-banda din otel pentru acoperirea prin sudare sub flux, destinat depunerii unor straturi dure si rezistente pe suprafetele unor piese intens solicitate la uzura, cum ar fi, de exemplu, piesele componente ale dispozitivelor de alimentare a furnalelor. Electrodul, conform inventiei, este alcatuit în procente de greutate din: 0,3...0,4%C, 0,3 % Si, 1,2...1,6% Mn, 6...7% Cr, 2,5...3% Mo, 1,5...1,7%W, maximum 0,03% P, maximum 0,03% S, rest Fe.
