Inventia se refera la un procedeu de ardere a combustibilului în vederea topirii sticlei prin amestecarea combustibilului gazos sau lichid cu aerul de combustie primar rece si aerul preîncalzit în regeneratoare, si aprinderea acestuia. Se injecteaza sub forma unor jeturi coaxiale combustibilul, aerul primar, de combustie si aerul secundar în niste focare modulate, obtinîndu-se o flacara de difuzie stabila, puternic radianta. Instalatia de realizare a procedeului cuprinde, în special, focare modulate sau ansambluri de focare modulate montate succesiv unul lînga altul, functionînd în paralel, de constructie corespunzatoare reglarii optime a flacarii în vederea topirii sticlei.The invention relates to a process for burning fuel to melt the glass by mixing the gaseous or liquid fuel with the primary cold combustion air and the preheated air in the regenerators and ignition thereof.
