Abstract

The method according to the invention consists in the fact that, in order to achieve the automatic stop of the metro in stations, a square regulation law is used, after the square of the speed and the space left to the fixed stopping point. The installation, made in the form of an analogue calculation and adjustment system, controls the control of four braking steps, two with decelerations lower than the prescribed deceleration for the automatic adjustment process and two with decelerations higher than the prescribed deceleration, automatically controlled, each in where the error is negative, the error being represented by the difference between the distance remaining to the stopping point and the square of the instantaneous speed, relative to the prescribed deceleration twice, the prescribed deceleration characteristic of each braking step.
