Abstract
Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a unui extract bogat într-un compus al etinei din plantele familiei Hipoxidaceae destinat tratamentului si prevenirii unor forme de cancer uman sau animal. Prin procedeul folosit se obtine un extract apos, alcoolic sau alcoolic apos în care activitatea este datorata prezentei urmatorului compus: (vezi formula) precum si prin coprodusele sale generice de flocosida. Extractul este obtinut din plante din familia Hypoxidaceae si în special din plante din genurile Hypoxis si Spiloxene si este utilizat pentru tratamentul antiinflamatoriu si al hipertrofiei de prostata. De asemenea, extractul bogat în compus I este folosit în diferite forme de cancer, în care se constata, dupa administrare, o certa îmbunatatire a starii generale a pacientului. El are un grad scazut de toxicitate, la necropsia animalelor care au supravietuit neobservîndu-se leziuni macroscopice. Poate fi administrat sub forma de pulbere uscata sau sub forma de tablete, capsule, drajeuri sau alte forme de medicamente.
