Inventia se refera la o siguranta ultrarapida de înalta tensiune cu alungirea mecanica a arcului electric, formata dintr-un tub izolant cu doua incinte o camera de strîngere a arcului electric si o camera de destindere în camera de strîngere se afla elementul fuzibil si un material de strîngere a arcului, iar în camera de destindere un resort elicoidal precomprimat separarea celor doua incinte facîndu-se printr-o garnitura elastica ignifuga.
