Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a eterului 0-tert-butildecilamilic, caracterizat prin aceea ca, la alcoolul amilic, se adauga solutia apoasa de hidroxid de sodiu 50%, bromura de tetrabutilamoniu si apoi, în picaturi, 1-bromdecanol-10-tert-butileterul si amestecul se agita timp de 15h la temperatura de 80 degree C.
