Abstract
Procedeul de preparare a 1,10 decandiolului prin reducerea dimetilsebacatului cu sodiu metalic, în raport de greutate 0,9:1 în mediu alcoolic mentinînd amestecul de reactie la reflux timp de 5h, urmata de racirea la 60...80 degree C si de adaugarea cantitatii necesare de alcool metilic, de refluxarea în continuare timp de o ora, de separarea fazei apoase de faza cu acid sulfuric în conditii uzuale si de izolarea produsului finit prin evaporarea toluenului la sec, consta în aceea ca, în scopul îmbunatatirii randamentului de reactie se adauga la amestecul format din dimetilsebacat dizolvat în mediu de toluen anhidru si din sodiu metalic, alcool butilic anhidru astfel ca raportul în greutate între reactanti si alcool sa fie de 0,9:1:5 la temperaturade 110 degree C, timp de 2h.
