Abstract
Inventia se refera la un procedeu pentru prepararea acidului N-2,3-dimetilmercaptopropilftalamic si anume 2,3-dimercaptopropanololul se protejeaza prin tratare cu o cetona inferioara în mediu de tetrahidrofuran ca solvent anhidru, miscibil cu apa, în prezenta de catalizator acid clorhidric sau triflorura de bor eterata la o temperatura sub 0 degree C obtinîndu-se hidroxiditiolanul respectiv care se clorureaza cu trifenilfosfina si o tetraclorura de carbon, la temperatura de reflux, iar clorditiolanul format se cupleaza cu ftalimida la temperatura de reflux N-ftalil derivatul, format fiind supus hidrolizei cu un hidrxid de metal alcalin, la temperatura de reflux.
